It was scary to watch you back then. It's crazy that your arm could hold up to some of those positions. Your match with Neil was awesome too, but very hard to watch at the same time.
You can talk about your techniqe all day long but you cant say anything about your absolute will not to lose. Damn...

Michael Todd.... What a guy. Offensively and defensively used the same musles to generate force = Tricep, pecs & supraspinatus for side pressure/drive and humeral torsion from elbow flexors (angled to look like he's exclusively always pressing... Ie Shoulder exactly inline above elbow) for defence.. This gave him great continuity of force at this point of his career, no need to transition. Only had to commit to a drive when attacking.... Its exactly how not to Armwrestle unless you're Michael Todd.

He may not be the best arm wrestler in the world but he's for sure got the toughest arm in the world. After seeing matches like the one in this video and others that Mike has competed in, it's crazy how he's still competing.
If he hadn't transitioned to specializing in the kings move, he wouldn't have been able to keep competing because of all the damage to his arm.
I've never arm wrestled before and my elbow hurts after watching that

Did not have it. I still had a fully functioning elbow and pulled inside.

I remember you saying you were going back to some old training stuff you used to do. You might need to throw it all away and change everything and update your enitre approach to training based on whats working for the top guys right now. Its time to Re-Invent The Monster.

It did against Wagner. Michael had insane elbow integrity.

@@Jdm5299his arm didn’t break against Waggoner. His tendon and ligament came apart.
However his elbow did fracture multiple times on the right armwrestling like this. That’s why his right elbow won’t straighten.

I have to give it to you on this front, one of the reasons you're great to watch is because of the positions you get put in and still make the match last, that's why I think the most exciting matches of your career to me are you against Jerry and Devon, the ones when the match went on and on to the point were many would have gave in

Similar position to Ermes when he fought Levan but i would say worse
Michaels is way worse, besides Levan had worst stamina than Lampareli and Ermes tired him a lot in the first rounds with back pressure

I'm not a professional arm wrestler but I'm pretty strong it would take someone who is extrremely strong to beat me . But I tied a slef proclaimed bar armrestling champion when I was 20
Yea I put myself in the exact same position once and trying pushing through. Popped something in my elbow and it hurt for like two months. Thankfully was nothing too serious because it feels fine now but I learned a lesson to never fight in that position again
MMT has really that Champion will, sadly he dosent have the best Genetics for the Sport.
