  • This Time We take you to the Williams Grove Railroad at the Williams Grove Steam Engine Association, on Three Occasions thru the Summer Months, June and August, and September. Pennsylvania Railroad 0-6-0 No.643 was Operating for the 2023 Season, and As Always I See This 0-6-0 Switcher pulling Short Trains on the Half Mile Long Line. We Will Hear Two Whistle in this Almost 10 Minute Video. The Spirit of Altoona Project, that is Restoring 4-6-2 Pacific K4 Steam Locomotive No.1361. The Pennsy 3 Chime Whistle was Brought to Williams Grove and was Put on No.643. We See it Blow at a Spot, which Sounds Great! We also will see No.643 Wearing her Original Whistle it Wore while at the Steel Mill in the Early Years after the Pennsy, before coming to Williams In 1961.     PRR 643- A b4a Class 0-6-0 Switcher built by the Altoona Shops in 1901, and Operated on the Pennsylvania Railroad til About 1917. After 40 Years in a Steel Mill in Harrisburg PA as No.5. In 1961 No.5, Came to Williams Grove. Renumbered back to 643 in the 80s, and Has Been A Jewel of Williams Grove Steam Engine Association.

    Great video of PRR 643. I had went to the California Central Model Railroad Club located in Santa Clara. It’s also the near time for the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, and then over towards Disneyland for the Disneyland Monorail and the Disneyland Railroad.
