I was actually very disturbed about how overly calm and pacifying the hosts of this show were about assuring everyone that AI will never be able to fully replace people, which includes pastors. Understand, my concern is not about the creation of artificial life, because that will never exist, but instead about the mimicking of life. Technology will continue to advance at a faster and faster pace. We had no concept of the holographic projection, AI, deepfake, and all that, that they have today. As stated in the beginning of this video, AI is still a computer that throws around a bunch of 0's & 1's ... we must take out the so-called 'mystery' and realize that AI technically is a large-language model (LLM) that merges information from billions of data points created by human beings and controlled with machine learnt (and human modelled) algorithms. But it's still just a clever 'washing machine' that has been prompt coded by a human being. I can name one church here in DeMotte Indiana-- it's a church called Grace! I used to go there, but then I backed out as I felt spiritually drained as they focused on interacting with people & NOT worshipping Jesus at all! There was NO pulpit, altar, or anything except a rock band that didn't have anything to do with Jesus! I'm glad I'm not there anymore!
I have been in a big Catholic Church before and they had a very loud rock band behind the pulpit, blasting out music....I was the only one there in a suit and tie, carrying my Scriptures... Most everyone else were wearing casual clothing, tank tops, sandals, shorts, sweat pants, etc....None of them, had their Scriptures with them... You know, I have never, ever, read any Scripture saying the Savior of the world, Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus the Christ, had any form of "band" with Him wherever he walked....

As stated in the beginning of this video, AI is still a computer that throws around a bunch of 0's & 1's ... we must take out the so-called 'mystery' and realize that AI technically is a large-language model (LLM) that merges information from billions of data points created by human beings and controlled with machine learnt (and human modelled) algorithms.
In this case 1000's of sermons and texts are merged into a believable 'story' that we find scarily realistic. But it's still just a clever 'washing machine' that has been prompt coded by a human being. The issue arises when we start to believe these algorithmically generated stories as if the AI is really alive - it is not!
However, I do believe that it is a powerful tool that can be abused by people who wish to deceive or manipulate others by careful filtering of these algorithms the AI uses. This is where the real danger lies.

People laughing off AI is the most naiiv thing.. there are multiple programs being created to create super realistic avatars and overcome the robotic speech issue. To just laugh AI away is very ignorant
