You could use some mag-alls as anchors to the shore to reduce all that boat movement, or connect to the dock rope anchors, and maybe make a little system similar to what you have on the back of the tug, but separate as a trailer to solve the turning issue, with cables and winches to attach it and send a turning signal
Great tutorial and frankly well done system cargo container ships with self-deployable kit is really difficult to pull off and you've done a fantastic job with it here.
you say it's not auto, but I never saw a functional container ship with this level of ease of use. It's really cool because it's not tedious like most other lodading systems.
Hello 454ss, I noticed your fictional vehicle manufacturer (Buckel) is incredibly similar to a fictional BeamNG vehicle manufacturer (Bruckel) I was just wondering is this an accident or is it on purpose?
I was wondering what happens to the tug when the ship is fully loaded? Is there still room to put it in it's storage place when the ship has all eight containers?
I thought I covered it in this video, but maybe not since I did several versions of the video and didn't keep track if i mentioned it. Pretty much, you bring the final 2 containers to the dock, load the tug, and then load the final 2 containers! It will not work if the tug is the last one to board - but what can be done if this happens is the tug can be placed on top of a container and the connectors engaged to the container top. But this will make the load unbalanced so ballast will have to compensate
why do you need 3 separate systems? crane, gantry and pusher. Why you can't just make crane a little longer and place container at bottom with one system, then connector on rails can slide container to the back itself
You are an absolute genius at designing vehicles, I love that crane
Thank you :)
just downloaded this and taking my maiden voyage, this is the most complicated ship I've ever used, glad you made some tutorials! amazing ship.
I like the container tug. Thats a cool idea to take with you on the ship.
just put a reset button for the crane and its perfect

this is awesome! very well thought out and designed!
This is one of the dopest creations I’ve seen in a while!

Thank you so much! :)

Thank you :) There are some who would like to push one button and have it do the whole dance itself, but I like it being interactive!

Looks great. Would be nice if the gantry and the pusher had an auto-park feature that would automatically return them to their default positions.
This has inspired me to try and build a stacker crane with a rover so I can latch onto the dock
Congratulations, you are a genius!
Great build, I am wondering why you don't put a counter weight on the crane so that it balances out the boat from tipping when grabbing containers.
Your creations always amazes me, keep it up 👍
I saw a working pool table on another build a while ago, and I'm curious if you'd ever consider implementing it on this ship
I considered it a while ago but I try to optimize my builds so they are playable on a wide range of PCs

@@454ss_gaming I ask that sam question and I got the som answer
Loading process is a bit slow and inconvenient, but I still love how it works (if I had friends to test this it could be faster and cooler).
It's an amazing job!)
Amazing bro keep it on🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤

Hey, you prolly aren’t reading this 454ss, but if you do end up reading this could you tell me what your pc specs are? Thank you
I have a video about how SW runs on a high end computer! Search my videos and you will see :)
is it on the workshop
First also great videos you are one of the best stormworks youtuber ❤❤
Thank you so much :)
You are most welcome
I love the boat
