Championship game of the in season tournament could replace one of the finalists' regular season matchups where the loser forfeits a home game against the IST champ.
Another approach would be to count all games played so both finalists end with 83 regular season games. It rewards the tournament winner, but 2nd place would have an extra loss which could have major playoff implications at the end of the season.

The most important thing JJ said was about the stars buying in to the how he wants the offense to run. Our offense under Ham was pretty good, but obviously when a play was well defended, we were supposed to go to our motion offense, but LBJ preferred to play hero ball. This was especially the case late in big games. So I know AD is buying in, and D’lo took a few shots at Ham, implying that he just lets LBJ do whatever he wants on offense instead of run a system like the Kings, Nuggets, and Warriors do. I’m sure everyone on the Lakers is excited about the idea, because it implies less hero ball from LBJ, but is LBJ excited? Well LBJ always plays within the system for most of the game, but it seems like he just can’t help himself sometimes, and this is where we lost a decent amount of games in the 4th quarter. So for me, Ham did have a motion offense, but it didn’t matter when it counted, because LBJ did what he wanted. JJ holding LBJ accountable is the best thing he can do for not only our offense, but also our defense. When LBJ is playing the right way, we are very hard to beat.

I love running more actual plays now all JJ has to do is play the right young people ex Max Christie and Vando. That will easily give us 5 more wins than last season.

  • @tabe8850
    @tabe8850 2 месяца назад

You realize how f’d we are. We are downslope with our stars, no draft picks really. The likelihood of AD and LBJ staying healthy like last year is remote. Rookie coach who got fast tracked. A roster spot wasted for at least the next 3 years.
Btw, it’s hard to improve offense in today’s nba when you can’t shoot from outside.

If we don’t find another big to play alongside AD, none of this matters. We have never really replaced the McGee/Howard combo that helped us win a championship. We struggle against the taller teams and our FO refuses to acknowledge this.

I have no idea who runs Laker fandom, but they sure are forgetful. Lakers had one of the top offenses in the league in the second half. What they need is more defense, but you hire a offensive player as coach you get an offensive mentality and focus. Also you get more of the same 10-6th place finishes. Stupid is as stupid does.

The fact that yall expect a 40 year old to still be an all nba defender is really stupid. It’s been proven 2 years in a row that he saves his defense for the playoffs when it matters. When he needs to get a stop he does, I.E. Bron clamping Kawhi to clutch a win last season. Stop trying to find a reason to hate. Lol

      Age 39 LeBron Defensive efficiency:
327th of 572 players (bottom 43% of the league) Damn near league average, I’d say that’s pretty damn great at 39. 🤷🏾‍♂️
Age 39 Jordan Defensive efficiency: 359th of 440 players (bottom 19% of the league) - MJ was downright sorry on defense, might as well have been a traffic cone yet y’all got the nerve to complain about LeBron 🤦🏾‍♂️
Age 37 Kobe Defensive efficiency: 462nd of 476 players (bottom 3% of the league) Kobe was an absolute shit can on defense, might as well been a 6th man for the other team yet y’all got the nerve to complain about LeBron 🤦🏾‍♂️
It just amazes me how y’all continue to hold LeBron to the highest of high standards even in his old age yet y’all never did that for any other player, not even the ones some of y’all falsely claim are better than him.

That Clippers logo looks like a ship in the crosshairs of a sub. They should have rebranded with a complete name change. No good history associated with the LA Clippers. Vic the Brick rearranged a couple letters in the name decades ago when the team was plagued with injuries year after year and showed the name can become C-R-I-P-P-L-E-S.

    FINALLY!!!
everyone will get a clue > that Lebron's "defense" IS "multi-dimensional" .. it's "strategic & mental .. common variables of having a high IQ ..
THIS is exactly what Lebron means when he says, "he plays the right way" ..
MIND the GAME podcast, showed us, that JJ completely understood THAT ..
apparently "kyle kuzma" DID NOT ..
