I had my 2nd session of physio therapy and my therapist dry needled my neck and shoulder bec i have a stiff neck and a lot of muscle knots, I felt better, my vertigo for 1 month and ringing in my ears disappeared. I am all better now but need to see my therapist next week again for my 3rd session. These are effective.
I would diagree. The needle injection itself doesn't hurt but depending on how much pain is released from the particular point, I would say my experience was definitely painful. I felt all the tension release into my head triggering a headache
I just had it done and it wasn't bad at first, but then it got worse. It hurt. In fact, I started feeling sick to my stomach. Had I been sitting up I probably would have passed out. It was not the worst pain I have ever had, but it was very uncomfortable. I have horrible knots in my shoulders and neck. I was so glad when those needles came out. It helped me for a week, but now the pain has come back even worse. It may be normal for someone like me who has really severe neck pain. I must say it was nice to have one week with less pain.
If you are having difficulty getting a consistently great adjustment, this is a must try. Also, K&S have a knack for finding hot spots and hitting them dead center. It's like they are reading your muscles like a book. Literally... I have been doing this well over a year and it's improved my spinal health immensely.
I went to PT yesterday and i asked about this treatment, after some questions, they did the dry needling on my traps but they added some electricity with EMS those muscle jumped like nobody's business it felt so good all my muscles tension went away, something that used to happen after getting a Deep Tissue massage only. I highly recommend this .
@@tomarrow818 I've had accupuncture carried out in my neck and head. And from my personal experience I know what works or at least what has worked for me. The longer the better from my experience. Try it and see if 10 minutes is enough for you to feel a difference. Maybe 10 minutes is enough for you.
Oh man-medical doctor here feeling deeply uncomfortable . Deep needles into pneumothorax zone. No alcohol wipes and then putting needles into the rotator cuff tendons. Its a recipe for infection and complications.
Of course the patient was wiped down with alcohol before treatment. We do need to edit video so it is not too long. And no, not deep needles, and of course on an angle so we don't hit he lungs. Watch closely.
Having intentionally inserted needles into lungs (Needle Thoracostomy) , I can attest that it isn’t an easy thing to accidentally do much less with such small gauge needles. Even if they were to make it into a lung, with no catheter being left in place, the tiny puncture would more than likely be inconsequential …..
Dr. Kevin Brown thanks I’m starting some therepy this week and some dry needling. I have a neck fusion c3 through c6 now a herniated disc on c7 . I’m a golfer and suffer with tightness in neck and shoulders as round progress I get fatigue in that area . Hope it works like to continue playing golf .

do you need to keep going back often or does it cure the trigger points indefinitely?
Also...
Before you ask... No it does not hurt... It's about the intensity of a great deep massage but more isolated to a given spot.

I had it done yesterday(different practice) to my jaw/back/neck and it gave me a terrible headache I still have.

You should get her tattoo artist to permanently mark those areas
This is great but without a follow up it is impossible to assess if this quackery or not.
May I ask where is yr office located?
Which direction we should apply
does it hurt?
Is it supposed to hurt after? My pt did my upper back and one side hurts really bad where she hit with the needle
I hate needles i have a phobia. Is adjustment or manipulation good enough
10 minutes isn't enough. 30 minutes on average for optimal results.
