1. Eric seems to be using a Papermate Flair here. You can just barely make out the two Papermate hearts on the clip.
2. Another example of his tripod grasp in action. He pushes his thumb deep into his forefinger to make this work.
3. He's working on a drawing board here, and the animation pad is held down with tape to keep it stable.
