I've never made a soft toy before (and never expected to!) I'm more used to DIY and gardening. It was tough work and required a lot of rewinding bits of video, but the result is impressive. Your skill in designing and cutting this pattern is amazing! Thank you for sharing this from me and my grateful grand-daughter :-)
OMGoodness, I wish they had a "💖" button for this pattern. As well as most of your patterns😊. My little great niece is in love with horses. Can't wait to make this for her. I will definitely become her favorite aunt..🤣
Just Adorable! I will sit and watch your videos for hours, take notes on supplies, print the patterns, and then realize it's time to stop and make dinner, lol. With a few minor tweaks this pattern could become a camel. I spotted at 1:34:25 into the video that reminds me of the camel in "The Little Drummer Boy" by Rankin/Bass. It would be nice to have a set of animals and characters for a Nativity Scene. I have joined the Master Class a few months ago and am gathering together my supplies to get started. I am so glad that I stumbled upon your channel. You have a great gift and I am so glad that you share it with us. Thank you Lisa
Thank you Lisa for another wonderful pattern. I made it in a pink corduroy, but I prefer felt, I think, just was using what I had. I used my vintage sewing machine even in a very tight spot, no problem. I usually skip interfacing as I prefer soft finish, I used safety eyes, yes stuffing head, marking and unstuffing. But I machine stitched head to the body from inside, so had only one point of entry under the saddle. I have a slightly different method fir the hair and if I ever make it again must remember to simplify 3 head pieces ( nose and 2x hair gusset) into one piece. Fiddly but fun. I used almost 3/4 kmart pillow stuffing ( there are cheaper than toy stuffing) and after I admire my hours of work I will set it free. Thanks again, have a lovely day!
Lisa - thanks for my new favorite creation. And I will tell you that I did get a chuckle out of your comment "...and if you haven't thrown this across the room yet, you are doing really well..." While it had some new challenges for me, I've learned how important it is to really keep to those seam allowances and try not to get ahead of the instructions. LOVED making my little girl - will put her on Facebook soon. THANK YOU!
Funny, I'm at the part where you say if we get to this part your doing awesome, and if you haven't thrown it across the room. Haha well I'm glad I too the time to learn how to do gussets and stepback stitch before getting here. I'm not finding it as difficult as it seems. Everything I've made has brought me to this place with a lot more confidence. The easiest way to do this, is to pause the video at every step. Well, I do that with every pattern, even if I've made one already. Love this so far. Just finished sewing the bum. On to the next step. ❤
Dear Lisa, you have been a god send to me over all this lock down, you have kept me so interested and fascinated. I never made anything before I met you, I am now 72 years old with lots of great grandchildren, to make your wonderful creations for. Thank you again. Anne Leonard.
Can you maybe please make a video on some basics 101 like what is interface? I love all of your amazing work and I am basically self taught besides the stuff I have learned from you...and I only sew by hand I cant seem to get the hand of a machine...
Yay! I finally finished. I made a hot pink pony with satin stitch eyes (with eyelashes) because the only eyes I could find were safety eyes that needed to have been put in before I stuffed my pony. She still looks adorable. Thank you.
Oh Lisa,,,,,,simply gorgeous. I am ordering little bits and bobs to get one of these started. Thank you so much for sharing your extraordinary talent with all of us. God bless you
Such a beautiful detail work.very inspiring projec for little girls in the family.I will definitely try as soon as I can. Thank for sharing a very unique project.
Oh so good to see you! I was worried about you with all terrible flooding going on down there. Praying for everyone 🙏❤. With 2 lovely projects! Thank you so much. Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family. 👍 Lots of love ❤!
Absolutely precious. Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise. I appreciate all the free patterns and helpful tips. I really enjoy watching your channel. From Massachusetts in the USA
Hi Melissa, I’m in Australia and buy locally so probably different for you, however my best advice is always buy eyes and wooden joint discs from a Teddy Bear supplies outlet. They will have more superior quality than craft outlets. 😊🥰
WOW, WOW, Lisa you are fast becoming my favorite youtuber this is just gorgeous, and yes I can see a lot of these little cuties in my future, you are so very talented thanks so neatly done!
Oh Wow, just beautiful, my little granddaughters are going to love this for xmas. Thank you, each pattern just keeps getting cuter and you are so easy to watch and listen to. 🥰💕
I made her! Love, love! Wish I could show you. I really like your method, especially the overcast. Makes things sooo much easier. Thank you again for a wonderful pattern.💕
This is fantastic Lisa, I know a little girl that would love this. A reindeer version for Christmas would be great with saddle bags to hold Christmas treats. Thanks for your hard work and generosity for sharing.
Precioso, tus explicaciones son excelentes. A pesar que no entiendo tu idioma. Gracias por compartir, explicar y enseñar a los que no sabemos. Bendiciones 😇🙏
I need to thank you, this is the 1st stuffed animal or toy I have ever made. This is for my granddaughter and for my grandson I'm planning to make him a Pegasus with your beautiful pattern. I'm not sure where I can post it so you can see.
I am going to try and make this pony. I love the style of the project. I just would like to know how to make a centerback seam on the saddle by hand. I don't have a machine.. Thank you

Hello Lisa I just love watching your videos and I have made the kitty toy too. I am now heading to making this adorable unicorn but I need your help. I’m from India and I have just come to the US on vacation. So I was wondering if you could help me figure out where I can find the felt fabric suitable for this project in and around Orange county California. Thanks in advance.
Absolutely Love this Unicorn. I have two Granddaughters that will love it. Where did you get the yarn, I can't find anything close to it, here in Charleston, SC
You made a lovely saddle but you put it on backwards. The little part that sticks out some should be towards her rump, it's where the riders rump would sit against. I love this and all your patterns, thank you so much. As a rider It just felt wrong to watch and not say anything.
Oh my goodness❣️❣️😍🤩🙏🏻what an adorable little Unicorn ❣️🤩💝💗💖 you have totally challenged me all the way❣️❣️ it is just beautifully designed 😍🥰😊🤗 I need to make one for a little boy what colors do you suggest? Just a thought. I can’t wait to create your wonderful little pony/unicorn ❣️ 😍🤗🤩 I have one more question please MS Lisa, is there a thin foam covered felt that a person could use? Just wondered
She is a challenge! The minky fabric would possibly suit a lovey style, soft filled but it would still need interfacing. Grey would be lovely for a boy, with red detailing 😍🥰

Hi! I used 12 mm but 14 mm would work too!🥰
This is just so sweet! You're designs are remarkable. Have you done a handbag pattern? I image it would be lovely.
Hi Donna, thank you, I have a couple of sweet cross body bags, but will definitely doing more bags in the future😊🥰

What brand of craft glue do you use? Is it for fabric? Thanks
I currently use Sullivan’s clear craft and hobby glue. Most brands are similar, just make sure it is clear and quick drying and suitable for fabric.🥰
@lisapay and @carlpay. How big can I increase this size? I want to use a quality minky.
Hi! As much as you want to really, how every if you want it to stand you will need a nice stable fabric.🥰
@@payitforward9442 I would definitely put a stable backing on it.
I am new to making stuffed animals and wondered why would a jointed horn be used?
Hi Reglindis, Jointing is one of the easiest and most effective ways of adding parts in soft sculpture. Jointing isn’t always for movement. You can sew it on if you prefer 🥰🤗
Those looking for the length of the tail 20 centimeters 10 pieces or 12 as many as you can insert
