It's totally funny how the EV calculates the range. Although they advertise 316 km range, the average safe range for this EV is 160 km with A/c and good four people & luggage riding it with around 10 percent (safety margin) of juice under the hood. The advertised range is over estimated. I just don't know why.
Unless you just go downhill and never have to climb back, you will get infinite range and well in that case you don't need expensive battery as well.
I like this EV but the range just falls a little short for my use case. It could be a perfect city car though. Build and interior looks pretty solid. If they could come up with bigger battery option(say 40 kwh), that could give a worriless 250 km with some 10-15 % juice as a emergency backup.

That is not how range is calculated. Also, this will make Tata give 20kWH battery pack next. Already Nexon and Tigor have stupidly low range like 180km in normal driving.

Yes bro I’m aware, it’s just like I’m sharing what I have achieved… Although an EV range is all flexible which complete depends on your driving pattern and terrain! Sometimes you travel 100 km and even sometimes 280 km which I have done many a times in past …

EV's are quite sensitive to how one drives, drive it with ease and it will return good range. Basically you have to relearn the art of driving with patience, no hard acceleration or stopping. Drive at constant speed 40-80kmph.

There is hardly any effect what i experienced in economy mode as i covered the distance of 270 KM with ECO AC and AVG Speed of 70 km, but with AC there is an impact of 10-15% in EV's, will make an exclusive video soon
