Why would a person trying to reconcile with their spouse go on a 2 week vacation with a girlfriend. It seems to me that when you decided to take time for your marriage it was too late.

I think she's been having issues in her marriage for a while. Something major happened in her relationship in July 20 23, that's why she took that vacation. That was an eye opening experience for her.

I guess I'm old fashioned. I would not take a long vacation if I was trying to reconcile with a spouse. She did say on another podcast that she had changed with one aspect being the way she wants to spend her time. Perhaps they did not agree with that aspect. Wishing the best for both of them.
