RIP to Noelle Neil. Did you know her father was actually a journalist? This was great. Always wanted to go to Metropolis, especially during their special events. Great video as always 👍!
This is Great! Love that they have all of this in honor of him. Christopher Reeves is my Superman. Very cool museum. So much history on Superman. Fun vlog. Thanks Jordan. ❤
Wow. And every year, someone has to put that Santa hat on the giant Superman's head. What a job. Loved that statue - the B&W series' Superman will always be my favorite Superman (followed by Christopher Reeves.) Also, somehow I always picture Kaydee with you, even when she's not. You're my favorite couple! Merry Christmas ⛄
Christopher Reeves is the greatest superman ever And he was superman brave man until his death but his legend will love on forever and museum is amazing thank you for sharing this video
Being much older than you I grew up with George Reeves, love Christopher Reeves as well they were both great Supermen. Great museum, really loved it, Ty for taking me there🥰🤗🎄🧑🎄Merry Christmas
Hey Jordan. Great channel !! My son’s grandmother used to like in Galconda Illinois back in the late 90s and we visited several times. Back then it wasn’t as big as it is now. The statue wasn’t as big. I used to geocache and I had a tag that traveled from cache to cache and I asked it to make its way there and take a picture. After about 10 or 12 pick ups and travels another cachet posted a picture with a small Superman toy I hung on the chain to the tag. Just some trivia. That town of Metropolis is the only municipality in the United States named Metropolis. Those Ohio river towns in southern Illinois have been through some difficult times over the years. Metropolis bounced back a bit from tourism and the River boats. Safe travels and happy holidays to you and yours.
Wow! This was fun! Such a great collection of memorabilia from Superman. It's interesting how so many props and costumes from shows and movies end up in places you wouldn't expect. Thank you for the great tour!!
Remember going there with family several years ago. Very cool. We ate at a terrific hamburger place that must have become one of the stores near the museum, called Fast Eddies! Great place. Grew up with George Reeve as my Superman, but also love Christopher Reeves.
Great video Jordan. When I was a kid, my favorite Superman was George Reeves. It was the 60s/70s. The movie Hollywoodland is worth watching. It shows the circumstances surrounding the death of actor George Reeves. Congratulations Rio-Brazil
Just got back from Cleveland, Ohio last night and visited the Superman house among other places. If anybody visits that house, just remember, its a very very sketchy neighborhood. It was worth it but lock your doors.
Dadgummit, Jordan. You are close to me again. You continue to find neat things that even this 79 yo loves. Say “hello” to G’pa for me. I sure hope he is doing well. I fell so not driving to Ohio right now. I’ve been a year in recovery and still heading that direction. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas. ❤
I would love to see the superman tv movie comic museun in metropolis m pennsylvania george reeves was good as superman nice statue of lois laine good vlog jordan vickie napa california
Been a big fan of Superman since I was a little kid after my uncle introduced me to Superman with "The New adventures of Superman" cartoon series from 1966. I would love to visit the super museum.
I grew up in southern Illinois near Metropolis. I left after college in the 80's and had NO IDEA they finally embraced the town's name! Back then all they had was a sign when you entered the town that said, "Home of Superman." This is so neat to see!
Wonderful video. I live about 50 miles away from Metropolis and I had been hoping you'd visit the back room of the museum (which looks like it was closed off for some reason). In that room is a folk art-style statue of Doomsday (about 9-10 feet tall) sculpted by one of my best friends around 2016, I believe. A bunch of us had to take several hours to put that thing up, but it was worth it. We try to attend the Superman Celebration every year.
I got to get out there one day and check out that Museum. Superman's my favorite!!! I love the movies and TV Shows, but Christopher Reeve's my favorite live Superman!!!
Hello there daze. I've been on a subscribers for almost about 2 years now this makes me happy seeing this because I actually live in Illinois I definitely got to make a stop in there sometime it's a bucket list to do. I love Superman I love Supergirl .
Can believe you were in my neck of the woods. Me an my sister brick was added in the 80s when the celebration used to be a big event. Unfortunately, Metropolis has fallen in despair now adays. It's been cool to run into you.
I have been there many times I simply love that town ❤ Been thinking about moving there. The housing is very affordable. You can also buy a brick and have it customized. Then they put the brick on the ground next to the store. I also love eating at Fat Edd's. Really good shrimp.
Man, I had a chance to go there many years ago, the day they released the Superman killed by Doomsday Comic. But I was tired, coming home from Indiana, and I missed it. I've never been close again.
It is there. You only saw about 50 percent of what is there. The place is super awesome. The one you're talking about was made by Schoenhut Toys, I believe.
I just to tell you to have the "Merriest of Christmas's and the Happiest of New Year's." 2024 will be an unbelievable year for everyone. Kindness will rule. The best of times for you and yours.😊
Christopher Reeves Embodied Superman As much as Lynda Carter Was the Embodiment of Wonder Woman the 70s was the Best Time for Superheroes 💫💫Thank you for this Super Awesome video
I wish they would have a statue of Superman in front of the house in Cleveland or one where hes coming out of the up stairs window where they both wrote the comic , that would be really cool
MY Dad and I were going to go but we never did, then he passed in '17. I still want to but think it might be too sad for me now, he was always the big Superman fan.
Jorden I dont know if you knew they had problems with the capes because they had kids trying to jump off of roofs thinking they could fly. they had George Reeves do a special announcement to the kids about that
Thank You Jordan for Another Great Vlog. 👏👏👏👏👏 I am a George Reeves Fan. I watch alot of Re-Runs of the Iconic Superman TV Show. Be Safe on the Road, and have a Wonderful Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 and a Great New Year. 🕶👍
A Superman shop should not be selling Kryptonite. 😂 I would absolutely love to see this shop. I saw an item with Noel Neill (Lois Lane) @10:00. Always captivating.
Jordan, I cannot thank you enough for this wonderful adventure. Superman is my favourite 🦸 Superhero. I had no idea this town existed or the museum. This is the best Christmas present 🎁 ever. Blessings upon you Jordan indeed 🙏🙏🙏
Really cool place!! George Reeves will always be Superman, Christopher Reeve comes second. May they both R.I.P. 🙏
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Kirk Allen was the 1st Superman, not George Reeves.
RIP to Noelle Neil. Did you know her father was actually a journalist? This was great. Always wanted to go to Metropolis, especially during their special events. Great video as always 👍!

This was a real fun video Jordan. We are Batman and Spider-Man fans but this was sooo fun. Didn’t know there was a Superman before George Reeves
The movie serials and the cartoon shorts were before George Reeves actually.
Not sure if you meant both or not though.
You have to visit during the Superman celebration in the summer time. Much better time.
Just got back from Cleveland, Ohio last night and visited the Superman house among other places. If anybody visits that house, just remember, its a very very sketchy neighborhood. It was worth it but lock your doors.
