I guess for someone that knows nothing about fnaf this movie would be not that good. For example the line "I always come back" would make no sense and be a wierd thing to say in that moment.
My theatre had the same reactions. The movie got an standing ovation because the song started playing

Love to see the animatronics act like kids when they built the fort and played with Abby. Nice reminder that the robots are possessed by kids.

A lot of people complained about that and reviews especially people who are actually fans of the series and it’s like it makes a lot of sense these are still kits not just killing machines
I actually look at it like they were luring Abby into a false sense of security so they could kill her later.
1) Children ghosts
2) Machines that were built for entertainment
It's the animatronics acting like kids because they are possessed by and they are trying to manipulate Abby into trusting them.

All theatres I was opening day were like this and make sure your theatre is packed
I went to see it on opening day at 1:30pm in RPX, there was barely anybody in there aside from(4-6 people). I was just silently cheering.
I actually got a decent theater, they reacted to the cameos which was fun.
My cinema cheered when Vanessa said his name is William Afton, when Yellow Rabbit appeared to attack Mike and when he said "I always come back"
I went to amc yesterday and saw the movie and the audience was ALIVE. Everyone was cheering clapping when things happened it was awesome also the movie was a solid 11/10
It's such an experience when the crowd gets into it. I feel like there are some crowds that want to be loud and scream but nobody wants to be the first one. So, you have to break the ice early to let everyone know it's okay. You are amongst friends.

Argentinian here, I was also quite surprised to see the movies full of people, not even when I saw mario had a theater that full.
They didn't clapped as much as on this video, but it was cool so see them clapping several times on specific parts of the movie.
Even though i knew TLT was gonna be in the credits, it still gave me goosebumps when i heard it on the cinema, it's just that, a very popular FAN song being heard on the big screen and being on a movie that was just a dream back in 2014, it's wonderful.
Growing up with the fandom and seeing it made it this big made me so emotional when I heard the song.
It felt like I was in middle school viving to those FNAF songs.

i was literally crying when he said i always come back. also started again when the FNAF 1 Song started playing. The memories just starting flooding back and i was happy seeing something i waited for 8 years.

I know a lot of FNaF fans would get the joke and all. But in the scene when Mike was in the waiting room, about to meet his career council Steve Raglin, the camera footage displays the date of April 6, 2000.
The “Come Find Me” has to be a message from Mike’s younger brother, right? Will his spirit possess the Puppet, since there was a slowed version of its music box playing?

This movie was AWESOME. Me and my friend saw it in theaters day one (with fancy recliners too) and man, we were loosing our minds. I'll cherish this movie forever

Freddy killed Max scene is by far the thing I didn’t expect to see in PG13 rated
Just like how Multiverse Of Madness suprised me with brutal deaths despite being PG-13(Look at what happened to Black Bolt, Reed Richards, Captain Carter, and Professor X).
It was amazing to go see it opening night what a great atmosphere

Fun fact: His scene was the first they produced in set and Scott Cawton was there to see them all of them and the funny and legendary meeting was The Theorist who started at all Matpad met Scott Cawton in set and damm legendary people meeting each other

I heard the rest of the trilogy was gonna happen. Matthew signed the deal and I believe it should get fans more hyped than before, myself included.
I feel like he just randomly said "I always come back", without any buildup. If I was the writer, i would've added more:
"Despite everything you do to me, I'll never leave. I'll always be a cold feeling you get when you think of me. Anything that you might think harms me, should kill me, and everything in between, won't affect me. Just know, that I always come back."
EDIT: since ppl are confused on the timing he would start saying this as soon as the cupcake starts biting him

I saw the movie two days ago and the intro scene was amazing.
only 5 people are in my theatre, including my 2 friends. me and my friends did whisper, point out and laugh at a lot of references
My theater had similar reactions, it was an amazing experience.

I loved this movie a lot. I saw it twice, catching things I missed the first time.
I think that was me that yelled “Up down up down!” Whenever Cory showed up lmao. I remember being so proud yelling Cory’s classic line.

I’m glad that my theatre had respectful people who still showed excitement for the cameos without screaming and clapping, ruining the first-time-watch experience. You can be hyped for a movie while still respecting other people

This definitely is for the fans. You really don’t see that nowadays. For everyone else I can easily see it being a mid movie. 5-6/10. But they obviously packed this with stuff for the fans, as a pretty good fan of the game I’d rate it 8/10. I think Matthew was phenomenal, spring trap was just *chefs kiss* but he could’ve kept the mask on longer. And the “I always come back” was great but really in a bad spot. They should’ve prefaced it with another sentence or two, and shown a little bit better that Afton KNOWS what he’s doing, he’s putting on the mask to die knowing he’ll come back like the kids did (I don’t think he knew in the games obviously but I like the twist that in the movie he knows about the ghosts and therefore knows how they work)
Vannesa Dad Reveal was when she said he's William Afton to Michael....
In my theater they cheered so loudly when they said his name that they missed the dad part lmao

The movie Vannesa is a parallel to the game Vannesa's fake backstory from Security Breach, the movie William Afton is a parallel to the book William Afton from Silver Eyes, the movie children drawings is a parallel to the book drawings from Fourth Closet, the movie Abby Schmidt is a parallel to the Elizabeth Afton from the games (loving animatronics, be lured with good intentions to be killed by animatronic inner mechanism and became one of them, talking to herself, not listening to olders, still caring about her older brother is weird way, having older brother Michael, having little brother Garrett killed before her, not to mention Abby is anagram to Baby and old nickname for Elizabeths), the movie Mike Schmitdt is a parallel to the Michael Afton from the games [desperate for money, trusting issues, having little sister Elizabeth (intentionally/not intentionally) and little brother Garrett (directly/indirectly) killed by his father William, facing his father, night guard job].

I went on the 26th early screening and the theater was silent the entire time. My theater is so boring. Same thing happened when I went to go see across the spiderverse opening night. Except there the only reaction was a baby who was a crying.

Let’s admit it. The movie is definitely a 3/5 rate at decent enjoyment, It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either, The efforts is definitely there especially the animatronics and pizzaria set

He was working on his movie “Iron Lung” based on a videogame Mark will be directing and making the movie and the co-writer is the creator of the game Iron Lung the game is an Horror game based on a sub-marine movie will came out probably on Q2 2024 I’m saying probably
And also he was the one who was the security guard at the beginning of the movie but like I said he was as busy Matpad told us he was supposed to be at the beginning of the movie

Just a averge preson that just wannted to see this moive and end up in this crowd of people that cheer and your confusded why there cheering at some ramdom bits and you just cheer along with them just so you dot look odd in the crowd.
