Yujin is a important character I could see that from the beginning but not that important just yet and it’s true, Gley doesn’t need Yujin just yet, I remember playing with a Yujin main and thinking holy f**k this will be OP in the future but not now, as a Gley main I look forward to seeing more Yujin mains lol but for right now she’s fine without it. Gley is the only character that actually truly works with him in my opinion as other characters can easily get buy without it he buffs her more than anyone else.
You didn't really go into why you are paring Greg's with Yujin, or even Enzo for that matter. I have both Yujin and Enzo fully built (all slots catalyzed) and I have their Transcendent mods. I also have Greg's, Enduring Legacy and Divine Punishment fully built and the unique abilities fully enhanced on all. To be honest, I have found Greg's DPS lacking, other than for mob clearing. I use Enduring Legacy with Enzo. With Firearm Enhancer and Perfect Support, it absolutely melts. I use Divine Punishment with Yujin because he is the only character that can proc all 3 buffs consistently and it seems like a weapon that is tailor made for him. I know its not the best DPS weapon in the game, but in Yujins hands it performs well. If I want to go "DPS" with Yujin I would use Legacy or even Python. Why Greg's?
@@gdotbat because it is the best firearm atk dmg weapon in the game and bombardment scales off firearm atk which is where all our offense is coming from and where all the def being lowered will make even more dps come out with a maxed greg’s with all the synergies and Crit damage. If there is a weapon in the future that doesn’t do as much elemental dmg (enduring legacy) but more firearm atk dmg then we can see the Greg being dethroned. But right now, the dmg you get per bombardment and the burn after ontop of it scaling off critical hits and weak point is already allowing my Yujin to hit for over 300k per shot and I don’t even have my greg fully maxed out yet. And that’s without all the buffs from the rest of the team. Yujin gives the biggest firearm atk boost possible, and with the Greg’s that’ll make each shot and each bomb hit that much harder. Further creeping the amount of dmg the Greg puts out. The biggest issue I’ve found with other weapons is that there’s a plateau in how they do dmg. In order to create much faster times you have to break the scaling. The greg can break the scaling in the game. It’s the best dps weapon in the game when you have it built correctly and how I mentioned. And the more boosts you add from the other characters with it, the stronger it gets. And as well as its elemental dmg, it’ll scale off your firearm. Basically the enduring legacy is doing what I said with the legendary toxic perk on the python. It plateaus. However the Greg, does what electric enhancement is doing. It’s based off a value you can actively increase by a much larger number making it scale even more the buffs apply. This allows per bullet for you to do an extreme amount of dmg that no other weapon in the game can compete with except an overcharged edge piercing light with an Enzo double buffed. And that does 100m+ dps with full upkeep in 45secs. So to have a weapon give you 8 chances to hit for 300k minimum non crit per bullet and if one crits all the other 300ks crit. That’s just simply exponentially increasing your dps by a margin no other weapon can compete with. Which means now you could do up to 3.5x 300k dmg 8x per bullet if you get lucky. That’s an INSANE amount of dmg
@@gdotbat also the divine punishment is trash. It’s perks aren’t great because it doesn’t give you that much of a reward and Yujin can get his cooldowns short enough without the lost in dps. And 100% uptime on all of his important skills without it. The firearm boost is negligible and the skill cooldown isn’t needed. Making it a weapon where it doesn’t benefit him. Then the dmg is lacking as well, low Crit rate, low atk, low weak point, low Crit damage. People I believe are stuck on videos where people said it was good for its time for specific build types. But it’s not good enough to ever warrant using it at all in comparison to the other weapons. You’d be better off with enduring legacy at that point. But enduring doesn’t touch anywhere near the gregs dps because of how bosses def and resistances work. Sure it does good dps, but not anywhere near the gregs when they’re both built correctly
I have battlesuit melting rounds and I used to use it but I wanted something cooler to put on Sharen. This explains why we had 10 seconds of melting on colossus whenever I threw it. Gonna build up my piercing light and keep charging ahead now 🗿
Enzo is a spectacular character, but when you’re talking about yujin people don’t understand there is no healer in the game like him. He’s not only unique, but he is the powerful character in the game. The amount of buffs between them too is amazing.
Yeah, if a game pretty much reach to where only specific descendents can clear harder bosses and the community won't accept it otherwise because it's forced to play against them public, then the game isn't fun long term and will hurt the game. They'll have to eventually release private mode.
I think she’s the most replaceable one. However switching her for anyone else will be a drop in dps. She does the best gun consistent dmg that scales in the game with a Yujin and Enzo and sharen. With a coordinated team she’s honestly your dps nuke
Just offering a small suggestion for your future content. You have some good ideas and they will be neat when someone does this group chemistry. But you are over doing some of your information load. You don't need to repeat the process of reasoning as you go through the reasoning. (Step 1, assemble your team. We want A for x, B for x, C for x, and finally D for x. This should add up to more fun and carnage as all of the buffs stack for the whole team. We can always rewatch your video. Think bullet points and a graphic on screen. If we need to reabsorb your information in its current form. We would be listening for a 10 to 30 second snippet in between minutes of explanation before the next detail that is important.) Additionally, have you looked at the analysis weapon mod? At max, it gives a 10 second debuff on the target with a -25% crit resistance with a 10 second cooldown for 11 build points. I have a few issues with your recommendations and I'm gonna list them down here. Please feel free to rebut them as u please. 1. A 30%(devotion hand cannon) defense down buff is about a 6% damage increase, I believe rychew has spoken about this and another youtuber Drybear, who goes into details about guns have mentioned this as well. So using battlesuit is just adding something slightly higher then 6% damage increase. 2. For Colossus, you cant bring the resistance of anything below 80%, which again has been mentioned by reychew which is 155,243 electric resistance and the rest of electric resistance reduction from bettlesuit, I'm guessing is uesless. 3.If you use fire aid kit, the buff you get from the stimulant buff you get when the healing drone expires or goes out of range is taken away. 4. The damage translation to from weakpoint and critical hits to the bombardment effect is Greg's Reversed Fate is not as good as you presume. Weakpoint as I believe you pointed out doesnt fully translate into elemental damage, only a portion of it does. For critical hits, since greg's is a 2 shot burst, if the first crits and the second doesnt, the bombardment damage is calculated of the most recent hit and barely any of the barrage will crit. Now if your spamming that weapon the damage will keep changing based on your last shot cirting or not, basically making it very inconsistent. My source for this is Drybear as well, based on his video Greg's. 5. Finally Greg's bombardments doesnt couldnt as weakpoint hits so its just going build the boss's frenzy bar unnecessarily faster, which makes it a bad weapon to use when the boss is moving around and even if your using it when the boss is knocked down, which is the only time most of the bombardments are gonna hit its dps is gonna go up to a million or so. Rather then using greg's when the boss is knocked down, something like emptying a mag of smithereens(when maxedout) will net about 2 mil plus dps. Since there's an enzo in the party, this shouldnt be much of an issue for purple ammo. Thoughts?

And yes I know how the Greg works, I’ve used it in these runs in an unoptimal build and it’s already outdmging the python, the enduring, and the other weapons. I orchestrate mechanic skips which means the boss doesn’t move, and the Sharen immediately makes the weak point yellow after 2 shots so we immediately put the boss in this slow walk and then hold into immobilized state. Meaning our dps is very mapped out and no rng in the run times. I was a world record holding speed runner in MHW. I have a lot of experience in Speedrun hunting. This is just me explaining how I broke the scaling and shorten my run by almost half the time, and we didn’t even have all the pieces in this video, and based on the boss health and our current dps, and calculating the difference. It would be easily sub30 with this setup. Again, I don’t need to know exactly what it’s doing, I just need to know if it’s faster. And I cannot get anywhere near the times I’m currently getting with any other weapon than the Greg’s reversed fate built how I said. I’ve tried the enduring, I’ve tried the fallen hope, I’ve tried the devotion, the regular python non gley, I’ve tried the piercing light on an Enzo. It’s just simply not as much dps when you have an Enzo. The crits are so likely that you have again a 70+% chance of criting. Completely taking away the inconsistency that you mentioned when you run a double buffed enzo which is the reason gley, and Enzo hit hard. The Sharen is using the piercing light, and the Yujin gets his dps from the 130% boost. I don’t have my Yujin all the way up but I’m currently leveling him. But my friend Murda has him and is able to do exactly what I’ve said in the video. And he outdmgs the Sharen and the enzo. Like I said this wasn’t just theory crafting but actual testing. If you can find a weapon that does better show me the proof of it working better with this team comp and I’ll just go use it. The goal is to use the best dps weapon in the game… and right now for how def works, the biggest bang for our buck is the Greg. Currently with an unoptimal Greg I am hitting for over 600k on my Yujin now with a Crit per shot and per bombardment. And since I’m running analysis master instead of mental focus due to ammo clip size, it’s extremely consistent. I’m sorry what weapon you know hits for 600k per bullet that has a chance of 7 more 600ks dropping. Moments ago that number was 300k. Then I upgraded it and it went to 400k. Then I upgraded it more and it just keeps climbing. So from my testing I haven’t found any weapon that comes close this this dps. And 6% matters more and more when you’re doing these high dmg numbers instead of something like the python that hits small but many times. This thing hits hard and also many times when you put the auto fire on. It’s basically shooting like an smg but has the hit power of a scout rifle per bullet with 7 nukes per bullet chance. The times don’t lie. So who knows, but from my testing this is easily the best weapon to use, and the Sharen made all of our dps skyrocket and halfed the clear time. I’m not an all knowledge guy, I’m a wisdom guy, meaning I get in the game and try to make it happen. I test the best way possible, which is in game experience. Because math and stats never tell the whole story. And yes I talked with murda when I was leveling Yujin and I misunderstood him. He gets the buff when the drone goes away which made me question duration on the build however it’s still a huge boost if you run duration for the 4 and wait for the 1. It also in a way is more optimal for how our mechanic skip run is mapped out. It’ll trigger right when the boss is held because he presets the timer so he has the 130% right when we hold for max dps. So that is my fault for misunderstanding him but he cleared up how he runs his rotations with it. He doesn’t use any tran modules except the efficiency one which allows him to self heal after 3 heals if there’s room in his build. Still tho having a 100% firearm atk boost with Yujin with 100% uptime is still really good. You’d just have to map out where you want the extra 30% from stimulant to be activated in a coordinated run. Now he doesn’t have shot focus yet but I do so it’s really 115% firearm atk boost 100% uptime with my Yujin allowing me to get to 145% atk boost when I fully build him.
@@z00ko Well so far my team runs the same setup that solidfps(u can search it on youtube) runs, which is 1 enzo, 2 gleys and 1 shareen. We are slower then them at 20 to 25 sec cos not all our gear are maxed out. Its just that incstead of using greg's we use smithereens but when we replace the shareen it goes to about 45 to 50 sec. I understand how strong battlesuit but I dont understand the maths behind it.
Before I watch anything else I’ll say it now… simply show the best run you get with the team, anything else is logically useless. But yes team building talk is fun so of course you should make a video, seeing the clear is more important because things go wrong in actual testing vs the numbers you come up with, it’s all fake information until it isn’t is a good way to think about it.

But this also opens up walk a tightrope for more drone dmg and + 30 firearm atk. So you get to choose. I’m currently rn running passionate sponsor

Yujin’s 2 does not proc healing on a colossus. The first half works though. Just not the healing.

So that is my fault for misunderstanding him but he cleared up how he runs his rotations with it. He doesn’t use any tran modules except the efficiency one which allows him to self heal after 3 heals if there’s room in his build. Still tho having a 100% firearm atk boost with Yujin with 100% uptime is still really good. You’d just have to map out where you want the extra 30% from stimulant to be activated in a coordinated run. Now he doesn’t have shot focus yet but I do so it’s really 115% firearm atk boost 100% uptime with my Yujin allowing me to get to 145% atk boost when I fully build him.
@@z00ko Well so far my team runs the same setup that solidfps(u can search it on youtube) runs, which is 1 enzo, 2 gleys and 1 shareen. We are slower then them at 20 to 25 sec cos not all our gear are maxed out. Its just that incstead of using greg's we use smithereens but when we replace the shareen it goes to about 45 to 50 sec. I understand how strong battlesuit but I dont understand the maths behind it.
Before I watch anything else I’ll say it now… simply show the best run you get with the team, anything else is logically useless.
But yes team building talk is fun so of course you should make a video, seeing the clear is more important because things go wrong in actual testing vs the numbers you come up with, it’s all fake information until it isn’t is a good way to think about it.

But this also opens up walk a tightrope for more drone dmg and + 30 firearm atk. So you get to choose. I’m currently rn running passionate sponsor
