To me, IU is pretty good at acting. Her on screen characters vs her real life demeanor is so completely contrasting that it confuses my brain. Also her acting is realistic despite that character being completely out of character to her real personality. That is good acting. Unlike most powerhouse actors where you cant tell their personality from real life to their on screen persona .. you can see the distinct line between her acting and her not acting. IU is the most timid, shy person you will ever interact with. IU has a lot of anti-fans because of her music in real life.
This is the reason why I don't believe it unless I see it. IU is really good at acting, she was a little awkward at dream high, but that drama has awkward written all over it. Her acting in Naui Ahjussi is just spectacular and just shut down any doubt that IU can't act, instead she was just showered with praises by everyone due to her believable character.
IU's acting in this scene is so freaking good that the first time i saw this video i seriously started to dislike her a bit, i didn't knew her that well back then, but watching this now again just shows how great she is
