@@gamer21683 curse spirit can heal with curse energy, true. But without RCT Sukuna wouldn't be able to use curse technique reversal, and he'd also become weak to RCT, so he'd loses one move and gains a whole weakness in return.
Burnout varies between individuals, like Ryu has almost zero burnout. We don't really know for sure if curses have shorter burnout since we only have Mahito as an example when burnout mattered.

I understand peoples thunking that sukuna can't be killed, but I feel like I have an idea of where it's going. Think about it, we've had yuji, yuta and maki all taking out of the fight but not killed, hakari is preoccupied with uraume and now kusakabe being the sole defender to stop sukuna. My guess is that kusakabe's role is going to be holding sukuna off long enough for the maki, yuji and yuta to recover and fro hakari to beat uraume, then leading to the 'final stand' being the four heavy hitters of jujutsu high versus sukuna, possibly with some others like choso, inumaki, mei mei and call it cope but nobara, who if she does come back I think she would have an important part to play to wake megumi up, imagine a RCT of resonance, instead of dealing damage to them heals them. She could use this on megumi's soul to 'wake him up' so that he notices yuji when yuji enters his soul, but like 90% nobara aint coming back. Then at the final stand with the heavy hitters I think as long as we see our main cast get some power ups and boosts it can be fair, we just need somethings like yuji's abilities explained, yuta copying a strong technique and possibly using a death-boost binding vow to raise the time limit of his rika ability, maki get a general stat boost or gaining a new weapon of some sort and hakari possibly doing something crazy like making it so once his domain is active not only does he have infinite RCT but all his hits are black flashes or something. I think people are counting it out and saying Gege has written himslef into a hole a little to soon, come chapter ~260 if none of the main characters have gotten any power ups, sure that might be it, but for now, I say let him cook

Also these character dont get power ups for the whole damn story what makes you feel gege is giving them power ups right now?Also sukuna still has black box/fuga also its possible that hakari might not be in fighting shape after his battle ends.

You know what i find funny?
It's that if Yuji and friends win every Sakuna fan and the Fandom will be Calling Bs and Plot Armour or Saved by conveniency.

Also just because someone points out Sakuna "still holding back" is kinda bad is because a good amount of us are talking about the plot not Gojo or anything like that so stop using Gojo Stan/tard or some variation of "You lack comprehension" or "You don't Understand" or "Do you expect Sakuna to die/lose easily" or "This is meant to be realistic " or This is Gege work he can do what he wants as a deflection/shield for argument and criticisms (valid ones).
It one thing to have the Final Villan be strong or proceed their reputation in this case but not at the risk of the story it also removes all tension from the story.

Did people forget why Sukuna decided to incarnate? He was fucken bored of Heian and wanted something new and fun. Gojo gave him that taste, Kashimo barely, Higuruma was intriguing but he capped at mid for Sukuna, Yuji is a stain in his eyes, Megumi the potential man and a better vessel when it's easier to crush his soul, and now Maki the first time hes met a 0CE HR that he gets hyped to the point of black flash. What good is strength if you cant have fun with it?
Gege's biggest mistake was starting Gojo vs Sukuna when Yuji wasn't nearly strong enough. Gojo and Sukuna represent the strongest of two opposing sides, so when one wins, the other is naturally at a severe disadvantage. Now all of Yuji's powerups have to be explained by the 1 month of prep time that happened offscreen, which is basically plot armor.
