    I appreciate your stance and support of independent breweries.

    It's always on special at my favorite local bar and grill, usually get it because it's cheap, easy to pound, tastes great, and a high abv

    I've been drinking it on the regular for several years. It's undoubtedly a world class beer, easily rated above 90/100.
    It's a 95/100 to me.

    Before I even watch the video I want to say I'm so glad you got to this one. It is so good. You can't overdo it or it will leave a bitter taste in your mouth but one or two is such a treat. This is a great way to reward yourself at the end of the day. 9.5 in my opinion.

    My god, all I did was type Elysian and a shit load of videos popped up.
    This company is more popular than I thought.
    Man this IPA is kicking my butt but in a good way. I’m not drunk. I’m happy with a warm forehead. I can still maintain. This is good beer. 😝

    Me too! Love the independent breweries but I drink whatever I’ve never seen! This is my first time trying this beer! Cheers! Picked it up at my local Whole Foods! This is a good beer. Wish I would’ve tried the older recipe though

    I tried this beer for the first time about a week ago. It's not the best beer I've ever had but definitely not the worst! It's a solid B for me! Pretty damn good, and at 8.2% ABV it only takes a couple and you're feeling it already lol. Cool videos man, I just subscribed.

    Probably my favorite DIPA

    @thrashtildeth247 7 лет назад +1

    I'd say that's a fair assessment. This used to be a go-to IPA for me being a Washington native. Overtime it has lost its appeal, but i'll have it from time to time. Cheers.

    Hate that Inbev is buying up all these craft breweries. I hate it even more that the owners of these breweries are choosing to sell out.

      Justin I can't imagine that's the truth as a lot of people do it. In fact I'm sure these offers happen quiet often. There is more to life than just the money. I do however understand that some might be struggling a bit and that cash would help them a lot but there are other ways to do it. If you make beer worth buying or a business worth supporting people will come. Even if you have a crappy product, you can still be successful with proper money management and business skill.

      Look what happened to Cigar City. They needed like 20 million to expand at the rate they were going so he sold it and said fuck it. I'm sure it was a hard choice but 20 million is a lot of cash to pony up

    • @mrblock2013
      @mrblock2013 7 лет назад

      IMO as an accounting graduate, that is poor business practice. You should not be expanding past your capabilities as there is a high risk of it turning around and biting you in the ass. Obviously if you have a major corp backing you you significantly limit your personal risk but then you are selling out. Look at the Alchemist. Completely independent and works at nearly max capacity because they make proper business decisions. Could they do a major expansion beyond their most recent, yes most definitely. Would they continue to be successful in their current state, perhaps. The demand for their beer is there and they could surely increase production ten/twentyfold and distribute all across the world. But they dont and wont because they choose to make responsible well thought out decisions and still are wildly successful individuals with a wildly successful business and business practices. Cigar city had a vast amount of options to choose from in order to be independently successful but they took the easy road that leads to dirty money.

      You seem to know more than me but that is exactly what happened to them and they took the easy road out and they probably financially set up a few generations of their families. When they started they had no clue it was gonna blow up like it did and maybe they don't really give a shit what anyone thinks and take the money. I'm not saying they couldn't have figured out another way to keep up or expand gradually but most people will take the money. It's human nature

    I like this brew, but it's $12/pack at my local store. And with InBev in the mix...nah guys. With Saint Arnold Art Car IPA sitting right there on the shelf at $8/pack, it's a no brainer. Especially considering the St. Arnold is often only 1-2 weeks old (going by the 'canned on' date), I'll go Art Car over this any day. Love your reviews...and your stash! :) cheers
