The CXN v2 does have a pre. It also does 192 res not just 92. Those Wolfson Dacs are not the latest but they sound fantastic. Saying that might give one a go.
Cambridge get the most out of the chips so don't judge it coz it's actually really good lol just no HDMI but I don't need a hdmi actually noone needs it 😂 just use whats there
No remote. But the remote that comes with the CX2 series devices (CXA 81, CXA 61, CXN V2 or CXC V2) work with the new streamer. To be honest. I barely use the remote when using my CXN V2. I do use it for my CXA 81 and CXC V2. Using my iPhone or iPad to control the CXN V2 is much easier and straightforward. Both with StreamMagic and Roon.
You could try it both ways. Connecting analog will use the CXN DAC/analog stage, which sounds very good. For comparison, you could then connect to the Marantz digital and use the Marantz DAC. I would predict you'll prefer the CXN DAC, but if you have the cables you could definitely explore.
Both have ES9028Q2M but they are set up differently. Magic has dual DACs, one for each channel, while CXN is single but higher resolution-32 vs 24 bit. I have not A/B tested these two but based on specs, higher resolution/with the CXN and potentially more musical sound with the Dacmagic. Some do like having a separate DAC streamer set up, much like separates for amplification, but it means more boxes and cables. All depends on preference. These two will sound different but not likely a lot.
Yo tenia entendido que el DAC magic 200m es el mismo dac dual channel de 32bits / 768khz, por lo tanto, no le veo diferencia a usar el con v2 junto a DAC magic200m
I doubt it’s worth upgrading from my v2. I’m waiting for them to release something differently designed so I don’t feel like I’m buying the same product again.
I want to hear this thing! Cambridge DAC implementations are always super musical
Please bring out the darn thing in black

Of course they sound fantastic. Digital audio is mainstream for more than 40years now. Don’t expect major steps between generations.
This is a very nice introduction.
Still no HDMI
No HDMI. That would have been a good addition for those wanting to run TV through the system. Can still do digital in but HDMI would simplify.
@@ListenUp Hmmm...... Eversolo ?
I run optical from my TV to my V2 for sound. I watch a lot of RUclips music videos that way or movies.
No HDMI, no bueno.
Serial port but not hdmi 🤔
I think they could of done better maybe a larger display and that dac chip is nothing special sorry I'll keep my V2 for now 😕

BOX CONTENT: CXN100, mains lead, antenna x3, quick start guide, safety sheet, registration card
No remote?
Believe Cambridge felt like phone is performing that function for most so decided to exclude.

No eARC, bummer 😢
Still no native support for Amazon Music HD... SIGH....
Yeah they need to get that onboard. Amazon has the best HD and Ultra HD library hands down!
Does the display have the same (low) resolution?
Yeah it's not oled.just a tiny bit bigger. And brighter apparently. Why bother.
@@stephenmartin3268lol spend 7 grand then ffs
No DSD either ?
Thanks for watching. Audio formats: ALAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, DSD (x512), WMA, MP3, AAC, HE AAC, AAC+, OGG Vorbis.
What would an hdmi for for streamers? Sorry I am new to streamers.

So the this will have a better dac then my dacmagic 200M?

Can you stream Amazon Music?
Apple Airplay2 and Chromecast are built in so you can stream Amazon Music
