I got you with big hands and typing. Impossible in the portrait mode and so inconvenient in landscape since you barely see anything besides keyboard. But 2 years ago I've discovered swipe typing and it was a gamechanger to me. It took me like 2 weeks to really get used to it, but now I'm able to swipe-type much faster that I would type with 2 hands before, and I can do it with a single finger while holding the phone with the other. I recommend everyone to give it a good try.
14:16 thank you for being honest about getting distracted so easily - as a fellow ADHDer I have the similar difficulties (but also strengths!). Often it can seem that RUclipsrs have a perfect life, this adds a well needed dose of reality and humanity, and makes you much more relatable 😊
Thank you for the video! I'm still using IPhone 15 Pro and it's still a workhorse. I'll upgrade within next 3 years. Using phone as an all around video/camera along with the DJI Osmo 3 , M4 IPad Pro for editing.
i am 6ft 7 my hands are large and i think the regular pro is fine i have a 12 pro max and the only thing i miss is the larger screen for media consumption
Hi Chris, I want to upgrade from my smaller 14 Pro with 87% bh, poor battery life, and scrolling stuttering issues which I have from February 2023. Do you believe your 16 Pro is good enough of an upgrade or maybe go for the 16 Pro Max instead or wait for the 17 pro series? I have large hands and had the 12 pro max before and battery and keyboard size were much better but the phone was too big for the pocket. However, now I feel like pro max might be worth the money more but maybe battery life in the smaller 16 pro is good enough nowadays, what do you think?
It’s totally up to you and what your finical situation is. It’s hard for anyone to tell somebody they don’t know to go out and spend $1000+ on something. But if you feel it can ad value to your life (taking better photos, or better battery) then go for it! Nobody knows what the 17 is going to be, so do what you feel is best for you.
@ Thank you Chris! And are you satisfied overall with the 16 Pro performance and battery life? Because after having my 14 Pro for almost 2 years now it has much worse battery life and the scrolling stuttering issues especially on Instagram and also twitter and Reddit too. I don’t know if it’s the apps issues but reset the phone multiple times previously didn’t help so maybe it’s even the 120hz display so I should get the regular iPhone 16 instead for the 60hz? Or if I get the 16 or 17 pro I hope it won’t have the scrolling stuttering issue like my 14 pro has even if they have the 120hz too.
Either way with your Reminders experiment - if it works or doesn’t - would be interesting to hear your experience with it. There’s a bit of a dearth of content out there on using Reminders in a ‘pro’ kind of way
I like my iPhone 16 Pro but am confused about Audio Mix and ProRes Log. If I open a Log clip in a Resolve timeline, there are just two audio tracks. Does ProRes Log not record Audio Mix tracks? And, if it does, how can we choose an Audio Mix track (the one that sounds best) in Resolve or Premiere? Editing Audio Mix in external apps seems to have been promised in the keynote. But no one's saying how it all works, including Apple's online iPhone user manual.
Pro right now, but that could change. With the increase in screen size I thought the pro would be enough, especially cause my iPad is the device I use the most.

I’m a photographer, and I upgraded from my iPhone SE3 specifically for the camera lenses. I was already impressed by the photos coming out of the SE3.
One of The most sensible and helpful video out there on Iphone 16 pro. Hate videos on it are just getting too much!

I’m having dictation issues with all my Apple stuff also. It isn’t a hardware issue; it is software-related.
Yeah it just seems worse on my iPhone than my iPad. But I haven’t done any proper testing to verify that.

For photography like I said always RAW. Video I use ProRAW. Fix everything else in the edits.
