  • A research team at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center has developed a revolutionary technology called Fiber Optics Sensing System or FOSS, a system that provides real-time information on structure strain, shape, temperature, and other data used by designers.
This 6-minute, 58-second video shows the technology’s current uses in aircraft research and design, as well as highlighting its potential applications beyond the aerospace industry.

Thank you for sharing. Allen Parkers's demonstration of previous fiber-optic technologies as compared to FOSS technology used at NASA Armstrong is very insightful and interesting!

Wow. this is great. I could use this to measure the spatial position of my robotic arm or control my computer with my arm or fingers!
I can't wait to figure out how to make it myself.

Fiberguide Industries and Micron Optics have been utilizing this technology for years now - the magic is in the mounting and assemblies, as they say in the video. The actual device itself is simpler than one might think.....

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. Nikola Tesla.

Nature communicate with vibration and our body had sens that can understand this different type of vibration (transforming them into energy). Human and living species also communicate with limited vibration, that can emits sound.
But the of vibration that nature is huge and can creates not only sound but light, mater and all the things that composes the universe.

hey guys, if your interested in this technology you should invest in it. check out DPLS. They are an OTC stock and have very recently installed this technology in a Bridge in Sacramento California.
