If you're a beginner I think it's important to a degree to do that. But once you have a good amount of knowledge on the subject you really gotta try to simplify and style it in a way you like. And that's hard. You gotta experiment a lot and figure out what works.
Determine what you're trying to practice when doing that reference drawing. Is it anatomy? line weight? values? line confidence? The goal isn't to make a carbon copy of the original, but instead to absorb and digest through observation and recreation the skills, techniques and peculiarities of your reference
I'm seeing some differences between the reference and the drawing, like the eye shape. When you decied to change something like that, do you do it for some particular reason?

Don’t draw timidly, make bold strokes but start off with light pressure so when you darken the “official” lines with harder pressure it’ll be neat and the shaky ness will be less noticeable
can you tell me where you get those reference images? I know of line-of-action for example but I always struggle finding images with a perspective like this

I struggle with trying to be perfect, making the art look identical to the reference, but I like this you made something new from the reference
