Historic travels in Virginia - Woodrow Wilson's Birthplace and Presidential Library in Staunton, Jefferson's Monticello in Charlottesville, The Inn at Little Washington in the small town surveyed by George Washington in his early years, Swann's Point, Jamestown, Genealogy Library at William & Mary and Williamsburg.
Maggie and Brian celebrate his birthday and recent graduation from Virginia Tech at the chef's table at the Inn at Little Washington - it was a special treat to meet owner and chef Patrick O'Connell and have him serve a wonderful desert made from the honey of their own hives! Met up with Uncle Ray on the way leading up to Swann's Point to visit old family burial grounds only to find the country road had been recently purchased and closed off to the public, access denied. Swann's Point cemetery is still visible on Google Earth.
