I never realized I was Scaramouche.
ei was trying to create a puppet that could hold her gnosis, he had emotions in his dreams, so she gave him life and an ornament to let people know he is under her protection. She wanted him to live a happy life.
No doubt about that, but then she just threw him away and never helped even when he just couldn't do something (like Tatarasuna incident), so technically Scara has a right to hate her for this. Still, he is arrogant and cruel prick, so can't be justificated even after his living hell of a life. Ei too tho.

okay but to put it in perspective (for scara)
if you were a child and your parent left you in a random place without telling you why and ignoring you when you asked for help, you’d end up hating them
(I know she had good Intentions and her puppet couldn’t recognise the golden feather but that kind of abandonment is traumatising and nothing was explained to scara so he had to come up with his own reasons as to why she left him alone)
but did the ornament/feather stop dottore from making him suffer and ruining his life? it didn’t, so the ornament/feather was kinda useless
