- MY FILIPINA FRIEND HAS FOLLOWED HER DREAMS AND BUILT A SMOOTHIE BOWL BEACH CAFE IN MATI CITY, DAVAO ORIENTAL!
In this video, I take my motor from Cateel to Mati, and meet up with my friend Attorney Vic. It is the Provincial Festival right now in Davao Oriental, and my friend has organized a big triathlon event. We wake up early, and test out the run route to the capitol building. After finishing our 10km, we head back to Dahican and visit my friends new cafe. I am so stoked for this Filipina and her super cool beach smoothie bowl hangout! You can look it up online "Alima Dahican"... she makes amazing tacos too!
From the beach cafe, I find myself back on the streets of Mati watching a wonderful dance festival! It was super cool seeing the difference groups from areas of Davao. Just a big celebration in Davao! Love it!

Kulas, that orange coconut? It is actually called golden coconut. Its is a good kind of coconut. The meat is soft and sweet so is the juice.
I remember them being sweeter!
