If Fortson makes the roster, he doesn't bump Julian Hill, he bumps Durham Smythe. Hill plays the TE2 position, and that is an almost exclusively blocking position. Smythe becomes expendable.

Honestly, dude, I sure hope we use the Tight ends a lot more this year because they won't be expecting it.And we can make awesome plays with our Tight ends. It's crazy
As to the TE, yes I think you will see more of the TE’s play. But I don’t think they will catch more balls. They will be more blocking in the run game and pass game. The plane is to give TUA more time to throw. And I don’t think after extending Waddle and hill they will take away from their opportunities. So my answer is yes we shall see more of the TE’s but it’s to get the ball to hill and waddle.
Jonnu Smith will definitely get more targets than all of Miami's TEs combined last year. Julian Hill serves the blocking TE role, and that will continue this year.
@@cnelsonlv99 yes, but McDanial like misdirection. He does not really like to have a “blocking” te per say. It lets the defense know what your doing. He likes to run 30 different plays all fr9m the same line up. .
@@reodude Sounds like you didn't watch Miami play last year. Julian Hill was a more important piece of the offense than Durham Smythe, and both he and Ingold were very important pieces on offense, even though they almost exclusively were on the field for blocking only, and the defense knew that.
Rolly if we stay healthy then we will really see what this Dolphins team is all about. Rolly start sporting some Dolphins gear, it might help with the prescribers.🤷

Have we given up on our undrafted walk on Conner? He played the past two seasons on special teams and occasionally as a 😊tight end.
That man wasn't used in Kansas city when he played he was unstoppable he is a force I know he's gonna shine😅
Fortson, smythe and Smith are your best tight ends , Hill is expendable
Fortson is over 6'4" and 232 lbs. Long arms an athletic. Like a big WR. Really a threat in the Red Zone and KC used him a lot that way.

No, I did not know, but as an ex-Chief who's played behind Kelce and has Super Bowl rings, he sure has pedigree.

hot take: the dolphins this coming season has a top 10 (maybe) 5 offense
Miami has the #1 offense in the NFL, and it's not close!
Bring back Cethan Carter and cut Julian Hill, Tanner Connor, and rest of tight End depth players!
Every year a TE that's gonna break out....would be nice but I don't think there's enough footballs to go 'round.
Jonnu Smith is the best TE we've had in a pretty long time... wouldn't say "break out," but he'll be more productive than anybody we've had recently.
@@cnelsonlv99 does he remind you of Charles Clay?
@@knick5032 Not really... wouldn't have thought of that comparison, to be honest.
