One of the nicest guys to meet and talk to. Met him a couple of years ago after a show on vacation in California. Still Rockin' after all these years! Their debut album is in my top ten hard rock albums of all time!
Now you did not really intentionally "wait" 30 years...did you? I would expect that the fact is 30 years elapsed between the first time you first heard them and the time that you first saw them in concert.
Black Tiger...my favorite. Saw the Contagious tour in 87 with Faster Pussycat, Gary Moore, Ace Frehley....one of the best shows, 3 guitar legends on 1 stage with Dimebag Darrell, then known as Diamond Darrell standing next to me.... so 4 legends in 1 building.
I seen Y&T with Bon Jovi and Ratt. They came to my hometown in Tennessee in 1985 I think it was. Four hours of Great Metal but Y&T destroyed the other acts and they opened!
@@johnkollman3900 Oh Wow! Man, they were/are a killer group! Two records especially released in the early-mid 80's. In Rock We Trust and Mean Streak are MONSTER'S! Why don't you like them if I may be so bold to ask?
@@timmyjams I freaking Love them , When I said " You Don't want to follow them I meant You don't want to be the band that plays after them because they just ripped the place to shreds . They are fantastic 🤘
Dave ! Celebrate Leonard Haze and his huge contribution to Y and T. You have not done this. Leonard was the solid foundation of your band from day one and his life and contribution has been kicked aside. Drums, percussion, and smoking on matters.
Dave is the nicest guy!!! And very underrated
Dave is the best if you have never seen Y&T you must..

BLACK TIGER is still on my CD player. fantastic guitar vocals and leonard on drums. just killer album
I waited 30 years to see Y&T in concert from the first time I heard them.....well worth the wait!!

The interviewer can’t shut up long enough to let Dave talk.
Contagious is one of my favorite albums of all time.
He seems like a nice guy
Dave is a great person
Meniketti is a true veteran musician - it's about the love for the music.
holy crap batman! Keep on keeping on , LOVE YA!
This interviewer will not let Dave speak!
This must be at least 10 years old, right. Ohhh, now I see. It is 20 yeas old. Just found the "Unearthed" 1st album. Never heard of it. =)

You don't want to follow them.
@@johnkollman3900 Don't want to follow who? How do you know what I would want to do? Just questions without opposition.
@@timmyjams Y&T . Don't want to follow Y&T. 🤘

It's from '77.
2003
Saw the original band in the 80's. I think it was with Aerosmith.
Aaaaaand Meniketti is laying down the scorching law of lead Geetar.....!
💥 DM 🎸 Bad Ass💥
Does this guy ever let Dave finish a sentence?
Name of the song?
It drives me nuts that kind of interviewers. If I was Dave I'll shut up and play.
Dave w/o a Les Paul doesn't look right
Interviewer is more into his own voice than what Dave has to say. So annoying.
