I carry out RCA's and im always looking at ways to speed up time on site and back home tidying up drawings. I've been watching your videos with interest, and the process you use here makes complete sense to me. It would be interesting to see an example of you doing this in a more complex setting though, rather than a square garden where it's a lot more obvious which points you need to delete. I recently measured a church with a number of interconnected buildings - lots of inaccessible areas due to obstructions such as light wells, fences and bushes etc. which prevented me getting up to the elevations. I know for a fact I would forget which points to "forget" in the app if I had to delete these points after completing my measurements, if surveying a larger and more complex area. It would be useful to be able to edit on the go e.g. when stopping between measurements, being able to select that point and clicking "forget", so that when you get to the next point, it gets deleted automatically. It would save meauring out the whole building and then editing retrospectively, and trying to remember which bits you want to keep. Would be great to chat to someone further about using Moasure in my workflow!

Hi Stuart, thank you very much for your views and it's really interesting to see how you'd prefer to integrate Moasure into your workflow. This is something we are working on but we're just not quite there yet. If you can't access areas then you wouldn't be able to use Moasure in those areas anyway, as the device must be placed against a surface in order to have that area measured.

Moasure ONE has a measurement accuracy of +/-0.5%+ a few mm in each dimension, making it ideal for measuring up when estimating and quoting. However, +/-0.5% accuracy is unlikely to be sufficiently accurate to measure for cutting, drilling or general fabrication tasks.

I think you have to get rid of that 6 second baloney bud! You should be able to just go to where you want and hit measure on your phone if you want to measure a large area.... or even a small area. What you did seemed a complicated mess to me and I wouldn't even think of buying it. Hope my input helps lol

We appreciate your view Kelly. The reason for stopping every 6-8 seconds is because the Moasure generates a higher degree of accuracy measuring like this, it's just one of the limitations of the technology currently, but we are hopeful that we can extend this time in the future.
