Actually, £27k is a bargain compared against the Streefighter because I managed to spec one to over £35k once you add the carbon, exhaust and billet trick bits.
That is a very good point! This is all there (apart from exhaust) nothing else needed!

I picked mine up 3 days after having a ureteroscopy. Trust me the split seat was a welcome but of pressure relief. The seat is firm, I wouldnt say hard. The suspension is very plush in sport mode if a bit firm, and I havent played with the custom map yet.
That intro was spectacular chops!!! The production you put out is so damn impressive👏🏻 GREAT review, beautiful bike.
If MV Augusta want my money they're going to have to put the Superveloce 800 into full production and at a reasonable price - the most beautiful bike ever.

@@RedlineRossi needed new starter motor. Lost 6 weeks mid summer because no motor was available. Short blast bike only (unless you're a sadist). Mirrors had fault, one just broke with no encouragement. A few other niggles. Sold mine because didn't know if MV was going to survive at time. Used to get people round it who weren't even bikers. 2 incidents of people running out of shops just to take a photo. Oh yeah annoying buzz from engine at ??? Revs - that bugged me.

Stock front sprocket is a 16. It comes with a 15 option to swap out. That was pretty transformative. Very well mannered low down. I compare the power delivery very much to my Jota. The fun starts a bit higher up the rev range is all, but it revs very very freely.

Now *THIS* is a street fighter! I own an s1000r & chuffed with it, but the MV Brutale is literally an awesome machine. Just finished laughing about the speed twin video (I think the speed twin is criminally underpowered) but this, this is spectacular and would be my pick all day every day. The cost & insurance would keep me in check. Still.........

Well there's something to be argued for bikes simply being that much better than they were and the fact that you can still get a reasonably priced bike easily.
These are all cherry on tops. I'd argue the high end is continuously being pushed higher and higher. Cus you gotta realize what is mid range in 2020 was high end not even a decade ago.
Prices overall do go up a bit across the range tho I agree, but there is a lot more in it and they become a way better replacement of a car rather than being a side addition.
If you don't need a car, get a bike. That's a viable option now

But there is one thing that will always prevent them being taken up by the masses here in N Europe and that's the weather.
Our winter weather makes them not just uncomfortable to ride in but dangerous too.

Is it your first bike? I have a 2019 Brutale 800, same specs. Absolutely stunning, head over heels in love. First bike? Not a good idea. Second? You can make it work for sure, I did. I now have the FM projects exhaust installed and it sounds absolutely wicked, shaved off like 9 pounds I believe, +3 or so horsepower. The thing can power wheelie in 3rd gear now, and it’s the base model 😆

130 mph on a naked and 180 mph on super sport feel the same. I cant imagine what 186 on a naked feels like. I rode my Speed Triple at 130+ for about 15 minutes following a friend in a M3 and when we pulled over i could feel the strain in my neck from the lack of wind protection.

I can't get behind the "Four cylinder's don't have character" thing. Big bore Kawasaki's sound like an orchestra.
One exception to this is the cross plane motor in the mt10. Just a shame the bike isn't better looking.
I could not agree with you more and have loved Kawasaki in-line 4’s since owning a GPz 550, 750 and 900r in the 80’s. I currently have an S1000XR because it reminds of those bikes. A Z H2 is on the list for next year (I think I may have green blood)...

I own a Kawasaki Parallel Twin.. If I ever upgrade, it’ll be to an Inline-4, just for the sweetness of the exhaust note !

I was within a hair's breadth of buying an MV a year ago, The Turismo Veloce Lusso, but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. The only dealer within about 200 miles was an "unofficial" dealer. Since I ride in some lonely places, from the Ozarks in Arkansas to the Colorado Rockies and the empty places in between, I felt nervous about the idea of being on a bike with not the best reputation for reliability and very scarce places to get it serviced if something electronic went wrong.
I still think about it. So easy on the eyes, so sexy.

PS BTW MV AGUSTAs Suspension/braking ect rop tier components are Performance UPGRADE units NOT production Units . EXAMPLE Honda uses Ohlins TTX36 Production rear shock which uses MUCH lower grade materials than the Performance UPGRADE TTX36 on the MV. Brembo recalled M50? PRODUCTION calipers but NOT the performance UPGRADE line of M50 calipers as they used different parts/materials ect.
