The anointing, as evident for 50 years in Twinkie’s life, songwriting, and heavenly musical abilities are what’s missing in gospel music for the past 20+ years. If it’s not anointed like this you can cut it off around me. I grew up in a time when choir rehearsal was just like this. We rehearsed, BUT: we EXPECTED a move of God! People getting the holy ghost who had been seeking God for it, people falling out under the anointing, and the unsaved coming in off the street: ALL DURING CHOIR REHEARSAL. Sadly, the COGIC I knew and grew up in is no longer. I left when I was 24. Stopped going to AIM when I was 15, but happy that God has taken me on higher and deeper in him. #bringbacktheoldtimeway
I've never heard anyone with such purity in their voice as Twinkie Clark. Please believe this: no one can flawlessly emulate that tone. Why? I could delve into an illustration using quantum physics about sound frequencies and vibrations, but the summation of my attempt would result in the "God Frequency/God Tone." However, I would possibly confuse the majority, so I'll attempt to approach this more simply. Here is my attempt: Twinkie's tone comes directly from her heart, rooted in a belief system that wholeheartedly embraces the "anointing." She believes so deeply in what she sings that its projection is felt by the targeted audience. (Powerful) Twinkie has what is called heart and brain coherence, a synchronization of the two. Because of her belief system, she sings wholeheartedly about God, and this is felt by the audience. Remember, we as human beings are, at our core, energy, and like energy will always attract like energy according to Universal Law. Words are overall just thoughts manifested from the heart. Remember, scripture says, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." Interpretation: Twinkie has such purity in her heart that today we see one of its manifestations, and that's humility. Her belief in a supreme being, which we call God, comes from a relationship rooted in love, as God is love. It is from Twinkie's love relationship-a covenant where the two become one-that results in a change in the vibration and frequency of her tone over time. She's literally tapped into the "God Tone/Frequency." In the church world, this is called being anointed, with the Shekinah (resting) Glory and the Kavod (manifested) Glory present and in operation. This can be easily proven through the years, from the late 70s up until the early 2000s, where her voice evolved-not just from raspy to hitting high notes, but her tone. Real fans are aware of this subtle change over the years, where it became better and sweeter. Yes, I am fully aware of her current voice limitations due to health issues, including a stroke, but listen to her tone even today. Let's not forget, in interviews, her sister always mentioned how Twinkie carried her Bible everywhere and how she would fast and pray, shutting herself away to pursue God. Any musician or singer in their right mind would study Twinkie Clark and definitely keep all of her projects, especially her solo projects, in their repertoire. ***Written in Respect*** #MyFavTwinkie
Tears flowing 🙌🙌 There’s none like him!!! Twinkie blessed my soul just from this short video alone. RIP Mattie Moss Clark I know you and Twinkie were inseparable on this song 💙🎼
So beautiful and mesmerizing!!!! Absolutely love it!! Alsoooo did anybody here that really subtle dooppeee run at the very end by whoever is recording I’m guessing at like 1:58???
Twinkie sings from a relationship with the true and living God. Not trying to impress people or show off vocally. You see the love of Jesus in her gaze. She is so serious about what she is singing.
It’s how little effort she has to put into it. Any other singer would have been making faces and throwing hands and probably would have stood up. But no, she is just quietly letting the spirit flow through her.
Yessssssssss her voice is back!! she belted that with ease like her old self!! THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR HEALING POWER! twinkie I love you so much!
