If anything, you could "blame" Lulu, but it's really no one's fault. Just an odd sequence of events.
it's just statikk. since kaisa damaged lulu a couple seconds earlier, akali killing lulu procced akali's stormsurge + kaisa's statikk and the damage from kaisa's statikk (after akali's r2 damage) got the kill on velkoz before akali's stormsurge could
I remember going onto the akalimains subreddit, and asking them for ways to counter akali. I was told that she struggles with waveclear and not much else. That was the day I learned akali had no weakness.
