I've been hunting shinies for over a decade since White version. Long story short, I no longer react anymore when they show up for me. What I like to do now is watch other people get shinies and see their reactions, especially when they are new to hunting. I really like your reactions in this! You're not too over the top and yet you sound very happy! Congratulations on all your finds!

My favourite was the dragonite Shiny hunt in this video (btw on the rowlet Shiny hunt when you said “let’s take our little bean” if my sister heard that she would be like “CALL IT BEAN” she loves the name “bean” 🙃

I see there are people saying you are too quiet when you get shinies. I think it's great! Too often you'll see people over react when getting shinies to the point that it's repetitive and kinda cringe!

No way dude the exact thing happened to me!!!!!!!!!!! I was hunting zigzagoon in the same place and I ran into a gossifluer and she was shiny!!!! I named her Tori! Also I legit just hatched a square shiny noibat while watching this video. I’d been hunting it alllll summer.

Awesome shiny reactions. I have a new hunt for you on Pokemon Sword, hunt for a shiny Durant. You can hunt for it on Route 6 (random encounter) or in the wild area at Giant's Mirror in Harsh Sunlight. Congrats on all those shinies. P.S. Shiny Durant is an amazing Bug/Steel type! Congrats again.

I still remember the first and second Shinies I ever got myself, and both of them were in Pokemon Y. The first one showed up while I was in the early game just walking to the next town when a *FULL ODDS* Shiny Ledyba popped up. The second one was a Shiny Charmander that I hatched. I still have both Shinies too, with the now-Ledian resting in Pokemon HOME, and my now-Charizard currently part of my main team in Pokemon Sword. I will likely move that Charizard back into HOME soon though, in preparation for the release of Scarlet/Violet. I just hope that Ralts isn't hard to find/catch in Violet, as it's always my #1 goal in any Pokemon game to get my hands on a Gardevoir ASAP. I *ALWAYS* use a Gardevoir on my team whenever possible (that's one of the reasons why I like Legends Arceus, Ralts can be found and caught very early on, requiring only that you get past Kleavor to gain access to the second region).
There's just something special about a Shiny that you found for yourself through persistence and effort.
I love that so much, shinies are so special and that especially applies to our first ones. Great job on your finds, and wishing you luck for the new games! ^_^ thanks for sharing!

51:06 guess we both went over 9000 encounters for the nicket line because i when for thievul and mine had a mark but took me 2years to get it. I just noticed my Thievul and Your Nicket have the same mark
Holy smokes it gave you a hard time too? I had started that as my first target when the games came out and i became so burnt out on it, i'm glad in the end we both got it, and yours even had a mark! that's so good ^_^
I have already shiny hunted drampa for about two days with shiny Charm and have already hatched about 400 eggs but still haven't got it.

I will say this year has been interesting for me shiny hunting, I got mudkip, I finally got after two years, a shiny wooloo, I also got my favorite starter shingle Piplup. I'm just now shiny hunting magby. Also watching your videos this year has been nice and just helps it be relaxing time and plus I love your reactions and your hunts, I'm glad I subscribe and I hope you get many more shiny to come this year.

I'm hatching Applin for a shiny and moved to the Wild Area to bump into encounters whilst watching this. About 10 different encounters, 4th of that and I found a shiny Cutiefly 🤩

Haha I just learned them recently, never paid attention before! Getting a good nature adds a fun layer to shiny hunts. Timid is +Speed -Attack, so extra speed (which is her best stat already) and her Special Attack moves like volt switch won't be negatively impacted :D

Do you use the shiny charm or no? Feels like a dumb question but I wanna know since I've been shiny hunting for a ralts/gardevoir and I went well over 1000 encounters for it lol
That's not a dumb question at all! I do have the shiny charm for my hunts in pokemon sword! and I will say even with the charm i do have a lot of hunts that still go well into the thousands! so please don't feel bad, you are doing awesome, and don't forget to take breaks! YOU GOT THIS!

Ok, I did it!, I got a shiny charmander from an egg and now is a charizard, It wasn't in the way that I'd like to but anyways im happy, the only thing that I need it's a max soup. Thanks for supporting me.

Doing 16 Pokemon per reset was 17 but got a lapras the 16 are gardevoir, hatterene, the main target sylveon, jellicent, milotic, lanturn, drednaw, orbeetle, excadrill, gengar, tsareena, sudowoodo, tyranitar, gastrodon, shuckle and sandaconda won't stop till i get sylveon though so part of me wants to get a lot of new shinys from this but the other wants to get sylveon quickly

Umbreon is my favorite evolution of eevee and my favorite shiny is shiny umbreon
