This song helped me learn the number Pi back in the days. Still remember it up to 16 digits, just because of the song. But I have to sing it to remember.
After reviewing your video on geometric Pi, I think you may find this information on mathematically calculating the accurate value of geometric Pi interesting. The mathematical proof of the accurate value of Pi is: applying the equation, "inverse sin delta theta radians = Pi x theta degrees/6y" where: 1. delta theta is 1/12 of 2 x Pi radians; 2. theta degrees is 1/12 of 360 degrees = 30 degrees 3. and 'y' is 0.5. When the value of Pi = 3.141592654 is applied to this equation, inverse sin 0.523598778 = 3.141592654 x 30 degrees/(6 x 0.5) 31.57396133 degrees = 94.24777961 degrees/3 31.57396133 degrees = 31.415926654 degrees the left hand side of the equation is not equal to the right hand side. Now when Pi is three (3.0), note the answer: inverse sin 0.5 = 3.0 x 30/(6 x 0.5) 30 degrees = 90/3 30 degrees = 30 degrees the left hand side of the equation IS EQUAL to the right hand side. This demonstrates that Pi is 3.0. It is also interesting to note that above equation is precisely accurate at 1/12 of the circle at exactly 30 degrees. This information is written a book that explains and proves mathematically; and through a series of "real" life experiments that Pi is equal to three (3.0). The name of the book is "The Great Design Integration of the Cosmic, Atomic, Darmic (Dark Matter) Systems - VOLUME I GEOMETRIC Pi". You can download the PDF version of this book for FREE at www.thegreatdesignbook.com. The book consists of seven (7) volumes, and Volume I focuses on GEOMETRIC Pi.
I came here because in math we have to find the circumferance of a circle, and I was about to multiply using ALL those numbers. . . this is catchy AND Educational
I think I was in 6th grade when I was first introduced to this song in math class. Now here I am, a little over 12 years later, in my final year of college; re-listening to this masterpiece. Man this screams nostalgia!
@mrWWE135 Is your calculator set to 2 decimal places (d.p.)? Calculators normally store PI as a constant to a high degree of accuracy. The more accurate formulas uses series notation math but I cant write it here with basic fonts because of the symbols. There are lots of formula. look up PI in the wiki where you can find the latest one. PI to 11 d.p. is accurate to less than a millimetre error for a circle the size of the planet. PI has been calculated to over 7 million d.p.
As a rough example. draw a circle and make quarters out of lines at 90degrees. at the top of each line(inside circumference) draw a straight line joining two adjacent lines together (making a triangle), then do the same but this time on the outside of the circumference. pi is I think the relation between these two, somehow....i forget its been a while. Although this may be horrendously off the mark! hope it helps
This theory is based on just two postulates 1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ or probability function represents the forward passage of time itself 2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w-function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event within our own ref-frame that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!
This theory is based on just one equation (E= ˠ M˳C² )∞ the Lorentz contraction of space and time is between the energy and mass. The greater the energy the greater the contraction of space and the slower time will run. Mass will increase relative to this and each ref-frame can be seen as a vortex in space and time. The brackets represent the boundary condition of the ref-frame formed by the energy and the infinity symbol represents an infinite number of ref-frames that make up our Universe.
@timmothey It can't be because if you multiply the diameter of a circle by 3 you don't get the circumference. Also PI is irrational, so you cannot calculate the last number. Definitely not by hand. And if it was 3, then the last number would be 3, so there would be nothing to calculate.
i like how no one will ever reach the acual end of pi since it is infinative btw this song is the oly reason i know 30 digits of pi so thank you oprahmemorizedpi
Never thought about Pi too long have you? It gives you that tingling sensation. LOL Just Kidding. Wait maybe... It is true... I am going to go take a long hot shower now...
C=(Pi)(D) Pi=C/D D=C/Pi Those are the three Pi equations. Yes I have Pi on my mind. Apple Pi is the best because we wouldn't have computers without Pi ! LOL! Chocolate Pi is very delicious. Man, I honestly don't know if I'm hungry or intelligent. ;)
I got sick on the day of the talent show. ): Also, my teachers wouldn't let me do it saying that it was "too boring." Even the math teacher agreed! What taste!
This song helped me learn the number Pi back in the days. Still remember it up to 16 digits, just because of the song. But I have to sing it to remember.
Electrofensterheber IKR I FEEL YA. I had to recite pi in my class and I asked the teacher if I could sing it XD hahahaha
Electrofensterheber I am 12 and I saw today for pi day and I agree it helps
Imagine not knowing 29 digits of pi
And this is why I know the first 30 digits of pi...
gnitpeohseluj XD 3.1415926535897932384626433 that's all I know. me and my sad life
3.14159265358979323846264338327950 Hannah Vlogs You're better than me...
At least, I think those are the digits of pi
I remember listening to this song while studying math in 12th grade. Almost 12 years ago! Ek!
After reviewing your video on geometric Pi, I think you may find this information on mathematically calculating the accurate value of geometric Pi interesting.
The mathematical proof of the accurate value of Pi is:
applying the equation,
"inverse sin delta theta radians = Pi x theta degrees/6y"
where:
1. delta theta is 1/12 of 2 x Pi radians;
2. theta degrees is 1/12 of 360 degrees = 30 degrees
3. and 'y' is 0.5.
When the value of Pi = 3.141592654 is applied to this equation,
inverse sin 0.523598778 = 3.141592654 x 30 degrees/(6 x 0.5)
31.57396133 degrees = 94.24777961 degrees/3
31.57396133 degrees = 31.415926654 degrees
the left hand side of the equation is not equal to the right hand side.
Now when Pi is three (3.0), note the answer:
inverse sin 0.5 = 3.0 x 30/(6 x 0.5)
30 degrees = 90/3
30 degrees = 30 degrees
the left hand side of the equation IS EQUAL to the right hand side. The book consists of seven (7) volumes, and Volume I focuses on GEOMETRIC Pi.
ahhhh this song used to love it (still do) and three years later i still remember the decimal places that are mentioned in the song
Happy Pi day! I remember listening to this song for the first time in 6th grade… now I’m a freshman in college and still listen to it every year!
They played this in my math class and the whole class started singing.
I have been showing this to my classes for years and it has never been an issue. It might embarrass adults, but not teenagers.
Happy Pi Day 2014!
Here is a pi song made by reciting pi through the saxophone:

Check it out!
Can someone please put this song on iTunes
I remember this song from 2nd grade, it always stuck in my head. Happy Pi day!
I am trying to memorize many digits of pi and this helps me.
When he started singing the numbers i was like "Oh crap he's not gonna sing all the numbers in Pi is he?"
and then he goes past the record number of digits calculated of π
i listened to this on spotify for 4 hrs straight while crying on the balcony in the rain…
Awesome vid. The only thing I would change is to have a depiction of the Trojan Horse for the Grecian's 'biggest blunders'.
Got a bit awkward in Maths when he said "mental masturbation".
This would be awesome to play in mathematics, but no teacher allows it for that one line :/
divyastrawberi they blooped it out in our school and I was really curious what the bad word was..now I know.
you memorized it to the same point i did, i must learn more pi!
I came here because in math we have to find the circumferance of a circle, and I was about to multiply using ALL those numbers. . . this is catchy AND Educational
Best song ever!!! Should go on ITunes!!!
Thank you for using your intelligence to share knowledge in a creative way. God Bless your heart!
i listend this around 1000 times, never bored :) XD
sweet! Where?
Me: I baked you a pie
Other dude: Oh boy what flavor?
Me: PI flavor!
There used to be a flash animation and this plugged into a website called mathpi, it's where I learned it.
this song is bloody amazing

should go on iTunes
Can I get this song on iTunes?
memorized that like a million years ago
@jorisjuuh No the singer does say the 2 from 3.14159265 but normally you can't hear it because he sings it a lot lower than the rest.
Technically, there cannot be a "full" Pi song because the video would never end.
I think I was in 6th grade when I was first introduced to this song in math class. Now here I am, a little over 12 years later, in my final year of college; re-listening to this masterpiece. Man this screams nostalgia!
This helps memorize the first multiples. Thumbs up!

I was at a Pi day festival last year. This 6th grade girl memorized 483 digits of Pi. Our group only got 64.
I used this method to learn it to 130 decimal places! Thank you!
I LOVE this song!!!!! We were shown it in maths today :D. Okay so it is weird, but aren't we all for pi?
@Thejackalghost1 He actually does say it, without breathing in the middle. It's just really quiet.
i like listen to this when im doing my enrichment homework XD it helps me think
happy PI day, greetings from Germany
Pi may be bigger that Infinity. But... Nonfinity...TRULY never ends.
This theory is based on just two postulates
1. Is that the quantum wave particle function Ψ or probability function represents the forward passage of time itself
2. Is that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π that is formed by the w-function is the same uncertainty we have with any future event within our own ref-frame that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual!
That reminds me, i must go to the shop and buy some more pie, to spread on my toast...
AWESOME! I found a new ringtone!
it can't be the 'full' song... 'cause Pi is eternal 😂
great graphic choices
interesting song twist
A world without pi... MINECRAFT
This theory is based on just one equation (E= ˠ M˳C² )∞ the Lorentz contraction of space and time is between the energy and mass. @MrWbomb Really? Cool! Did you search it up? Or is your job to figure out Pi?
is this on itunes
@rocketsoccer1 who puts this in a good music playlist???
When I was in 6th grade memorized twice as much as this song goes
I listened to that song when I was young back at Codero School.
Finally!!! a version that does not the mental masturbation part cut out and skips the boring intro
With limited accuracy, its the ratio between the circumferance & diameter, Pi = C/d. Also, Pi = Area/radius ^2.
Kid: Mom! "Pie" taste funny.
Mom: No! That's the wrong kind of "pie"
Kid: Pi equals 3.14159265358979.....
Mom:Uh?...
@timmothey It can't be because if you multiply the diameter of a circle by 3 you don't get the circumference. Also PI is irrational, so you cannot calculate the last number. Definitely not by hand. And if it was 3, then the last number would be 3, so there would be nothing to calculate.
I forgot what's this music called?
That song is awsome!
This song made Math interesting.
A "Pie" is a circle, and they discovered it trying to find the exact circumfrence of a circle
Pi day listened to this in class 3/14/16
I've lerned this on my ukelele. NERDPOWER!
Makes me like math a little bit more.
hahaha nice hope to c you sometime ^-^
16 years later... are u an adult now?
My math teacher showed us this today! LOL! and he showed us "Pi is exactly 3" what a math class.....
Yeaa!!!! Thank you math teachers ❤
This song made math interesting.
i like how no one will ever reach the acual end of pi since it is infinative
btw this song is the oly reason i know 30 digits of pi so thank you oprahmemorizedpi
Thank you for being mature Gregory.
great song xD our teacher told us we're goin to sing it on our school's open day next month :D
Never thought about Pi too long have you? It gives you that tingling sensation. LOL Just Kidding. Wait maybe... It is true... I am going to go take a long hot shower now...
@JBLover4Ever600 "Why the fascination with
a number whose end is just a myth?"
j/k
Lol I love this song my teacher showed it too me long time ago and its still stuck in my head lol xD
C=(Pi)(D) Pi=C/D D=C/Pi
Those are the three Pi equations. Yes I have Pi on my mind. Apple Pi is the best because we wouldn't have computers without Pi ! LOL! Chocolate Pi is very delicious. Man, I honestly don't know if I'm hungry or intelligent. ;)
Pi is the key between the 2nd and 3rd dimension.
i love this song!
i love your pi pies!!!!
I can't wait for this version of Minecraft: Pi
'Pushing our computer throught their paces' Windows vista cannot get past 3.1
I got sick on the day of the talent show. ):
Also, my teachers wouldn't let me do it saying that it was "too boring." Even the math teacher agreed! What taste!
Happy Pi Day everyone!!
the formula for the area of a circle is pi R sqarued, but pie arnt square, pie are round, cake are square
This is the best pi song ever
He forgets the 2 between 3.14159 and 653897, doesn't he?
RUclips needs a constanty replay button!

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
In 6th grade, on March 14th (pi day) My math teacher let all her classes watch this video twice!
lmfao im going to get my most bitchest teachers to show us this video in math class XD
I really wish they played this version in my math class instead of the loose yourself one
4:19 The joy of pi... eating it!
curling is a sport?
1:40-1:42 it says mental masturbation...my math teacher showed this to us and the whole class could not stop laughing
Yeah, notice instead of pi in those equations you see even multiples of pi, because 2pi (or tau = 6.283185307179586...) is the REAL circle constant.
where can I download this song?!?!?!?!?!?
i was watchin rhis today in my school with my maths teacher
i watched this in maths today HAPPY PI DAY !
im trying to find this on GOOGLE! not youtube, if you could help plzzzzz reply to me and tell me how to find this on GOOGLE.
Ohh yeaahhh..
LOL it had me laughing so hard
@lugiaperson its a parody of that song, which is an AWESOME SONG!
