This review made me cry. I went to Guerlain in Paris and had a wonderful time. The SA spent a full hour with me and Showed me around the entire store. She took me upstairs and opened doors to give me sneak peeks into the holy inner sanctum. I didn’t buy anything as I had just come from SL where I bought Muscs Khoublaï Khan, but Rose Barbare (which I tested) stayed with me all day. I had to move to the US 2 weeks after my trip and now I live in an area with zero perfume shopping, and no one seems to have the slightest interest in fragrance. Your video just sparked an incredible memory for me!

Oh bless your! Such a lovely story. Perfume can really "take us there" can't it? xxxxx

Angélique Noire is DIVINE. I know your taste by now and I am absolutely certain that you will LOOOOOOOOOVE it.

Fenugreek in a fragrance is quite funny to me. We use a lot of fenugreek in our cooking (I'm from India). A popular dish here is chickpea flour flatbread stuffed with fenugreek leaves 😂

I use it too in my cooking. It's a very pungent note but hey, I favour fenugreek in my curries. I just don't know about in perfume. :)

"Two thousand and whatever year it is." lol! Yes, I feel like the older I get the years go by so fast I can barely keep track of them.

Love the house 👌 they can do almost no wrong. I have not tried anything from this line but I will change that very soon interested in a few of them.

I would expect divine and divine that was. I've got it in sample with 7 others. That was my selection. "Angélique Noire" was not for me.Thank you for review. It is simply irresistible and my next purchase

Hi Derma, do you have any experience with Rose nacree du desert at all? Why dont you like Angelique noire? What about Rose barbare? Anyway, what is your most favourite Guerlain from their niche line? ;)

I haven't sampled many of them either , so this will be great.
I love Tonka Imperial . I have the 2010 , plus some decants from other years.
Oh everyone loves Double Spriritueuse Vaniile . It's a little to much for me.
Demi and Lola have some insight into the long lasting ones.
I am going to get some more decants, the 5mls , when there's a discount.
No though, I no not to order this one.
I remember this one rose fragrance that had lots of spice added to it.
Kinda smelled like after I sprayed my carnation roses with bug repellent .
I do have a 5 ml from Areej Le Dores Malik al Taif .
    I like it.
    I just love Charlatan from Fort&Manley .
I know what you mean about the dirty hair.
There must be one for just rinsed hair at the beach too.
    That one i like.
    Clean hair too.

This scent is the one which put me into the rabbit hole of fragrance world. I can still smell it without smelling it. I don't like it's dry down any more, but it's a very unique scent. After all it's done by Francis Kurkjian, so it has it's own category, I guess.

Fenugreek? Hmmmm. Challenging note for sure. It sounds like an interesting scent though. You have certainly helped me appreciate more challenging fragrances that I might have overlooked in the past. I am really curious about this one now!

You know from guerlaine that it'll be quality and this sounds like a unique and intresting rose. That's so refreshing! Alot of rose scents seem far too similar 👌

This one is deffo not a regular rose, I would never buy it but I'm having fun discovering their "special" line? I guess? hehe

Great review! I'd probably get as far as aldehydes, then turn tail and run, that note usually smells like hairspray on me. 🎵Mama told me not to use it!🎵

Try Sisley's soir du orient, glorious rose. Find it in house of fraser i think, a rose I'd definitely wear. Dark and stabby! 🗡 seriously though, try asap
