Everyone, I apologize for the rude comment you all have read. I have blocked the user, preventing him from commenting any further. Let’s worship the Lord by NOT acknowledging the enemy. We love The Clark Sisters and I appreciate all of you who have defended them!

It's your page, but ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away. Idk what this person said.

What trips me out is knowing how old they are. Their voices are still so strong.

Never realized how much Jackie’s voice stood out and how profound her bottom register , and the way Dorinda is SKILLFULLY moving through that middle harmony is crazy

Twinkie is doing the bass, Jacky is doing the Tenor, Dorinda alto and Karen Soprano

  • @ghicks861
    @ghicks861 10 месяцев назад +6

I know Karen’s movements automatically stand out, but folks underestimate how Twinkie & Jackie’s role w/ those lower notes are just as impressive. And Dorinda keeping it all together w/ her lighter voice & movements in that middle note. I would love to see someone break down the parts for us.

    Twinkie's bass owned this

That was Jackie hitting the bass line. Twinkie was singing tenor. You’ll see Jackie sliding the bass line towards the end.

    O Come o Come Emmanuel
    Jeremy Camp
    Oh come, Oh come, Emmanuel
    And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
    Rejoice! Rejoice!
    Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, Oh Israel
Oh come, Thou Day-Spring, come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night
And death's dark shadows put to flight
    Rejoice! Rejoice!
    Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, Oh Israel
    Oh come, Oh come,
    Emmanuel
    Rejoice! Rejoice!
    Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, Oh Israel
    Rejoice! Rejoice!

I'm about to have darts thrown at me....haha! In my opinion Karen's microphone was probably a bit too loud and doing too many runs. I would have preferred for Dorinda to have put a little bit more volume with this song.

Actually they did a Mic check and all their microphones were at the same level.

Dorinda is usually the lowest in h the mix. Karen j Jacky typically give a bit more. You gotta listen for Auntie D.

If you watch the full video They all told them to turn there Mics up. And Dorinda told them to do this song to see if the Mics worked.

Haha 😅🤦🏾‍♂️😆 Here’s The Thing… Karen Actually Opens Up Her Mouth & Sings. Not Taking Away From Any Of The Other Sisters, But When Have You Ever Know Karen To Be Timid On Stage? Since Finally Karen, She’s Somebody To Reckon With.

Dorinda blends so well that you don’t even realize you’re hearing her. The alto line she sings here is incredible!
