What Minami meant by Villageer B or C is that she's just an "extra" character like in movies or TV shows.
Yeah and by changing from B to C I think means that it doesn't matter which "villager" she is since she's not noticable anyways

Also I saw someone recommended "Shelter" by Porter Robinson and I really would like to recommended it as well, it's a bit old (around 7 years) and has around 74m views. It's amazingly beautiful and I'm sure you'll appreciate the music and video, a Madeon and PR music video animated by A-1 pictures and produced by Crunchyroll and aniplex

Minami is genuinely one of my favorite, and in my opinion, one of the most underrated Japanese vocalists of all time. Everything she puts out is gold, but she's criminally overlooked. I highly recommend you keep checking out more of her work.
Another great Minami song is called "Lilac" and is one of my favorites from her. Also ReoNa has two opening songs for Tsukihime that I think you would enjoy.

There's so many absolutely amazing Japanese artists, but I think Minami will always have a special place in my heart as my personal favorite.
The pure sound of her voice, the incredible singing talent, the raw emotions in her vocals, the beautiful lyrics, the song compositions, everything just adds up to masterpiece after masterpiece.

There can never be enough love for Minami. All of her songs are incredible and straight from the heart, and they flow beautifully and tell touching stories across the board. She is an amazing artist and well deserves every bit of recognition.
It's only been a couple weeks since I found Minami and also her song main actor, I listened to crying for rain and waiting for rain first but after finding main actor, it just catched me so fast and ended up also being my favorite one. Lilac is also pretty good but main actor has my whole heart, her vocals in this are so unique and special, very deep lyrics and just overall such a good song. I'm so glad and graceful that I found and can listen to such a beautiful song

this song is one of two songs that have genuinely hit me in the most personal ways possible. (other one being fanfare by sumika.) but really, i’ve listened to tens of thousands of songs over my life, and have related to thousands, but none have ever put out the words of the things i struggle with that i can’t even begin to find the words for like this one and fanfare have. it’s insane to me.

Another Minami song you should react to is her song "Drop." Another one of my favorites.
I recommend watching "Oshi no ko". It's an anime whose first episode released yesterday. It's by the same author that made Kaguya-sama so there was already some anticipation but honestly nothing could have prepared us for what we got. The first episode is over an hour long but is such an emotional rollercoaster that I'm still reeling from it hours later.
This looks like it might be one of those rare instances where we're seeing a historical moment in anime, a moment where a masterpiece begins and starts taking over the entire community conversation, like with AoT back in the day.
"minami - aiue" (Urusei Yatsura (2022) opening 1) is one of my fav even though it's quite different to her old songs. Her voice is indeed amazing.
This is one of Minami's most relatable songs. For the average person, it feels like we're barely a participant in the world being moved around like pawns on a gameboard by forces beyond our ability to counter.
Minami is my favorite singer for a reason hehe. Waiting for the rain is my favorite.
Next song should be heated by life itself. That hits in the feels.

For me, since Main Actor, her first single released in December 2017, which is a depressed musician trying to find a place where she'll be recognized, gives much more meaning to Holowness. Holowness is someone who is suffering because she had to created a fake personality to please people, and she feels that she cannot go back. Even the people accepting her in Main Actor are present in Holowness, and they chose the girl with the black t-shirt (fake personality). Therefore, any Minami playlist should have Main Actor first, Holowness next.

If you think her other songs are good, she has more but none of them have music videos, my favorite one is honest diary, that is honestly the best song for storytelling, vocals, etc, and its all done acoustically. She's both playing the guitar in the song and singing.
