Keep trying brother. Allah love those who tries. Make dua and ask strength from Allah. If you get help from Allah, all problems will be solved automatically. If you cannot avoid sin, it is not good. But not to ask forgiveness is worse.

I hope Allah forgives the humans their mistakes that they make. This is a nice Dua. I´m christian but I like to hear the holy quran. I have learned the suras in arabic language now and when I pray for my muslimic friend I use the muslimic way of praying.

I had committed a major sin multiple times, I had asked for forgiveness 1 or 2 times but soon forgot and repated the sin today. I had than felt guilty and ashamed.
