Allahu la ilaha illa huw Al hayyulqayyoom La takhuthuhu sinatun walanawm Lahu ma feessamawati wama fil ard Man thallatheeyashfaAAu indahu illa biithnih YaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wamakhalfahum wala yuheetoona bishayin min AAilmihi illa bima shaa WasiAAakursiyyuhu ssamawati walard walaa yaooduhu hifthuhuma wahuwaalAAaliyyul Aatheem (255)
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (Quran 2. 255)

As an atheist, I’ve been having terrible dreams last night, like I’m being terrorised at night, I feel a fear each night before sleep. I was so scared the other night for the first time in my life I prayed and begged God to please protect me from evil.
I had a dream I was in Mecca the night and tonight I search for the Muslim books online which took me here.
The fear is now gone and I’m sleeping in peace. I don’t understand how this works? Science does not explain?
