This is the waltz I love so much from Dmitry and Olga.
The opening is lovely. Music is lovely. Lady is lovely, very musical lady.
This is their biggest hit and best waltz of their life.
Now professional world champions, in their division, the world is proud of this SUPERB waltz. A very, very musical waltz.
Helge Christopherson. Interesting. No comment on the man and his dancing, only the lady. What's your opinion on him and his style of dancing? One thing is for sure, he is the complete opposite of Arunas which everyone knows is your all time favourite so how does Dmitry stack up there. I am personally not an admirer of this style of ballroom dancing so I don't really know what it is you love, but I'm interested to know.
@@joetesta3352 What I love is the beautiful opening danced by the lady. ˛She is so light and musical. And the chemistry between them is good. They retired after winning amateur world championship in their division. Suddenly they were back with this kind of waltz show. I was delighted by the choice of music and a "new" lady, with ballet arms. Only a few years ago, a trend of what I called "lion" dancing was popular with all the couples taking big (huge) moves in a wild fashion in the waltz. I wished it to get a better trend, and the beautiful opening here is a paradise from lions in the past.
I always try to see the best in any couple, and encourage it, and every couple is different, their bodies are also different by nature. No one can match Arunas and Katusha, they are a perfect match and I like their style 100 %. They also dance so well to the music. Every single day I watch A & K waltzes (and S & K rumbas), including the fantastic 2010 waltz in Asian championship on Zen (Katusha in white).
Every time I see former (East European) "lions" make a debut of lightness like the opening to this lovely music by D & O, I feel the world has come a bit closer to the atmosphere of waltz. Then I for a moment try to forget moves later in the dance that is not my choice of style and routine.
The opening was lovely. By the lady, especially. And the music lovely.
