Nicely filmed, but there's so many videos of Brighton mod weekenders that just focus on scooters going up and down the promenade.... When I went a few years ago there were bands on, is there no live music anymore? There's more to mod than scooters....
Thanks Richard for feedback, as you may or may not know I filmed a lot of the New Untouchables films which focuses more on the people in the clubs etc....... In fact we filmed so much during that period that people started to get a little fed up with having a camera pointing at them. Which I can totally understand. The promenade is just that somewhere to promenade where people go to be scene and posse if they want too. I try to focus on the more stylish aspect which can be in short supply sometimes. Parkas, lights and mirrors and badges are not my taste which is good as the scene has a wide range of influences to which people can choose should they want to. As Roger Ramjet in the comments below asked for more Scomadis, you could argue that Scomadis are up todate and so more Modernist than older Lambrettas and Vintage Vespas. I guess it just comes down to personal taste. Take a look at my video link below at Dreamsville where I think is perhaps more what you were expressing in you original comment. Many thanks for watching ruclips.net/video/YBaOQxTeta4/видео.html
@@musicdonkey007 yep, I enjoyed that, always been an etta James fan too... As much as I love scooters I can't watch videos of rows of scooters anymore, with 'my generation' playing....
