im so glad this isnt just a peppino reskin with a gun, you can tell it actually has some heart and soul which i 100% respect, wish you the best of luck on this mod
I love how some of the ways you get around the level transformations really feels like vigi is literally breaking the rules of how the level is supposed to be played in favor of "doing his own thing"
But… But he abides by the law!
It's more like he is beyond the shenanigans of the levels.
(Unless if they made this mod into a full campaign that happens before the main game where he isn't working with pizza head for some reason and is trying to get to fight him instead)

I wonder what Vigi's motivations for doing these levels would be; knocking down Pillar John, rescuing the Toppins, KILLING HIS OWN KIND, etc.

People pointing out "Vigilante killing his own kind" is funny cuz he thinks he's a human cowboy so he only sees cheeseslimes as weird creatures, and Peppino does also "kill his own kind" since the guys that give you the fire mouth transformation are human just like Peppino

@@FlipeTheBasedwell, cheeseslimes are completely harmless so there's no reason for Vigilante to kill his own people that have no desire to hurt him. He's a vigilante after all, he punishes only the bad guys

It will have much more than just Vigilante, he's just who we are showing first. All the main cast from Pizza Tower will be fully playable with their own unique movesets, on the same level as seen with Vigilante here but sometimes even more distinct. Think what Noise is in the Noise update, but for every character. Almost all of it is already concepted.

@@CockroachTheFoul So if there's a chance of vigil being in the game, there should be a costume (or cowboy hat) you unlock by not killing any cheese slimes, like the noise update where you get a costume from not killing those gnome noises

@@funnigoobergoofytube speaking of ways to unlock future characters, I think Mr. Stick should be unlocked by collecting all of the Toppins and giving them to "Mr. Mooney".
If Pepperman were to be added, you could maybe unlock him by obtaining 101% completion, or by winning his fight without destroying the Peppino painting.

Me personally, Vigi is one of my favorite characters in Pizza tower, and seeing how the people who made this mod truly put talent into making this is amazing! (And with the detail that Vigi dosent use the spicy wings is a truly cool detail I see in this, hope to see more soon :) )
He's my favorite too. I hope to show more soon! Vigilante's moveset might change a bit even more before the first demo, with his wallclimb and superjump cancel being altered. I'm excited for people to play it.

Snick would likely play like his 2017 playstyle. If he was modded in with a new playstyle, he'd likely function well like other Pizza Tower characters. Though if a mod had customization settings for Snick, we'd likely be able to choose between 2017 style or the new style.
This looks absolutely amazing! Genuinely on par with the Noise in terms of original gameplay.

This is honestly so cool. There's so many callbacks to when Vigi was gonna be playable, like how his speed caps at Mach 2, how he needs dynamite for metal bricks, how he can shoot, and probably more. Amazing 👌

It really feels like the Vigilante is in his element, even though some sections of the level were obviously changed to make it possible with no transformations.

Hey i have some ideas for vigi's moveset.
1: Instead of wallclimbing, vigi uses ice axes to lunge himself up from walls, similar to a mach launch from peppino.
2: Im not sure if the superjump is kept in this moveset: but instead of a shoulder bash, maybe vigi could get on a weenie mount instead?
3: Maybe you can immediately blow up dynamite by taunting. Speaking of dynamite, i think you should be able to boost yourself from an explosion of it to get good vertical momentum

For the Gustivo section there should be a "no vigilantes allowed sign" and the vigilante would take off everything and look like a regular cheese slime the only gameplay difference is that he doesn't have all of his weapons and his wall climbing ability would be faster

So since noise is being offically added to pizza tower, I'm assuming you'll eventually add that version of noise, along side pogo noise, but will there be any other additional moveset options for noise?
the mod or the old demos in general? because i think chef's kiss noise is going to be a extra moveset for the noise you can swap with a in the same pogo and skate was in the older demo
Our Noise isn't two movesets, we already fused pogo and skateboard Noise together to make a perfect Noise moveset, and when the Noise update is released all of that content will be ported into Chef's Kiss and our Noise will merge with official Noise. I've already thought about it and they can merge perfectly, CK sprites will simply be replaced with official ones. As an aside, characters will have options but not for entire movesets, there will be unlockable extra moves that will be toggleable, Noise will have these.

So did you end up reusing a lot of assets that were intended for playable Vigilante, or is all of this completely new? If so, I'm impressed that you managed to draw things in such a similar style to that of the official game.

Cool idea: since Noise Goblins dont accually attack the noise in noise uptade, you should make cheeseslimes not attack vigi (but taunting will make them attack)
