It's a blessing for daniel that his father not only accepts him as a muslim but also is receptive to his dawah. What is a test for one revert is a blessing to the other. I know other reverts their parents has not talk to to him for years/months.

None of the verses of the Surah are from God. According to the Koranic lore, Muhammad received some of the 114 Surahs from the Angel Gabriel at the Cave of Hira and some at Medina. These are all fairy tales. The writers of the Koran very easily took verses from the books of Judaism and Christian books. The Koran has been revised over 387 years and was printed in 4 Countries: Three in Europe and One in Egypt. The revision of the Koran occurred during the rule of the Islamic Ottoman Caliph Turkey for 600 years and ended in 1917 surrender from British troops in Jerusalem. THIRD: Western Christians generally don't care about their religion before, if someone wants to pay as long as they are guaranteed big funds, they will do whatever is important for them to get money. Changing religions is normal for them, if one day they find that Islam is full of lies, they will definitely change again.. They don't realize that the Biggest Religion on Earth is not "Christianity" or "Islam" or "Judaism". The Largest Religious Groups are “Confucianism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, and adherents of African, Asian, Latin American ethnic religions including Atheists. The number of these religious groups is 47%. Christian only 38%. Sunni Islam + Shia Islam only 12%. Ahmadyya Islam 3%. Ahmadyya Islam population in western Europe continues to increase compared to Sunni Arab Islam.

Daniel there is another thing that is beneficial for you both regarding this chapter: Notice that the chapter starts with the story of Zakariyya(Zachariah) pbuh and him asking Allah to grant him a child, and Allah answers to his dua and blesses him with Yahya pbuh(John the Baptist for Christians), now this is just as miraculous as the birth of Isa(Jesus) pbuh. Because Zachariah is extremely old at this time and his wife is barren, unable to have children, but in both cases of Yahya and Isa pbut they are created by Allah simply ordering it to be. Everything in the Qur'an is placed in its place purposefully and there is so much wisdom and depth in it.

What you have missed is that John is the last prophet not Mohammad. What you have also missed is that John Baptised Jesus and it was at the baptism of Jesus that the the trinity was revealed for the first time. What you have missed is that Zakariyah was the witness of the angel appearing to Mary. Mohammad claimed that an angel visited him in the Hera Cave but there is no evidence for this claim. How can you put the salvation of your soul on a man who had no eye witness, no miracles, no prophecies for the claims he made.

The affirmation in the Shahada that Mohammed (PBUH) is a Messenger of Allah, doesn't mean he is equal to Allah himself or he is part of Allah.
I don't think your English is that bad, that you do not understand such a simple statement. Meaning of a messenger according to Oxford dictionary "Messenger: a person who carries a message or is employed to carry messages."
Its also an affirmation, not to repeat the same mistake that the Christians have made knowingly or unknowingly of proclaiming the divinity of Christ, instead of treating him as a Messenger like others before him.

@@Fallen_Angel17 It's true that you should love all the Quran but you can have a favorite verse or surah. Quran resonates with people differently. as mentioned in Riyad as-Salihin hadith 388 there was a prayer leader ending his prayers with surah ikhlas (chapter 112) because he loved it and it was the attributes of god. So god was pleased with him.
I love ayat zumar verse 53 ( chapter 39:53 ) because it made me feel true inner peace and forget about my past and try to be the best version of myself moving on.

Yes, this is known to be the first ever verse revealed of the Quran. The Prophet (ﷺ) was retreating at a cave in the outskirts of Mecca when the angel Gabriel appeared to him, squeezing him tightly and ordering him to read. Since the Prophet (ﷺ) was unlettered, he responded, “I cannot read.” Ultimately, Gabriel taught him: “Read (Recite) in the Name of your Lord …” Some scholars believe that this encounter is the fulfilment of Isaiah 29:12, which states, “Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, ‘Read this.’ And he will say, ‘I cannot read.’”

I've started a journey of reading Quran with translation. In English and Kiswahili language. On this day before ishaa I read the surah before it, AL kahf . I opened my RUclips and I saw this video, which is the next after AL kahf

so when the Angel (alaih alsalam) said read and the Prophet (SAWS) said i can't read after few times he said read in the name of your lord who create
