This was in 1983, last few months of his life. As per what I have read, he was going through health issues, he was isolated by our 'very honourable' film industry. Those insecure heroes of that time deliberately sidelined him, asked their wives not to work with him and that he was given side roles. One can easily make out that, some serious politics were going on against him. Also, at this point in this interview, you can clearly see he was battling severe depression.. those blank, spark-less, puffy eyes say it all. What a loss. No one should ever be treated like that.

Nice to see Waheed Murad in this talk show. Waheed is so good looking,so polite. Just seeing him brings back my memories 1962 to 1967 in Lahore as MBBS student, saw many movies those days, and so saw Waheed Murad so often in those movies. Heartbreaking about Waheed Murad that he died so young at age 45 in 1983. GOD BLESS WAHEED MURAD. He brought happiness to millions by his acting.

Waheed Ji seems epitome of grace; mannerism, style, gorgeousness; and decency. He has impressive style of talking, and one see a clarity and straightforwardness. He was truly a matchless hero, perhaps one and only in whole sub-continent.

I have alot of old and new magzines regarding Waheed ji .He is my most favourite hero. I had read about him in Ali Sufiyan Afaqi 's articles ,He says Waheed was a great human being and artist.

My God this is August 2020... and Karachi is still the same in rain.... and Waheed Murad is so cute and innocent... he left too soon at the age of 43.... the time he should have been at the peak of his career .... perhaps the decline of film industry was too much for him.... in a way he was the victim of Zia rule....
