VIETNAM TRAVEL 2025 - SAPA

After completing the Ha Giang loop we followed some of our new friends to Sapa.
Sapa is a popular destination in the North of Vietnam, known for it rice fields, misty weather, and various ethnic groups.
We stayed in the Hoa valley just outside of the main city, which put us in a great location to go on some scenic hikes.
While I'm no stranger to trekking through the woods, this was my first experience navigating twisting trails through bamboo forests, and I really enjoyed it.
While treating ourselves to a coffee break we ran into our friend Matthew from the Ha Giang loop, and continued together from there.
We also ran into these curious bulls on our way down the mountain.
We decided the best way to end the day would be by taking a swim in the river that runs through the valley.
Some curious goats wandered by, probably looking for snacks.
While we barely scratched the surface of what Sapa had to offer, it gave us a unique perspective of the North of Vietnam, and I would highly recommend making a stop here if you have the chance.
