I know that envy is one of the seven deadly sins, and that you should not find yourself feeling envious of others. But, watching these videos, I can't help but to feel a little envious of the life Louis leads. It is a life that I had a chance to lead years ago, but passed up due to being young and immature. Now, being a quadriplegic b/c of a car wreck, I'll never have the same opportunity. But, at least I'm able to watch these videos and live vicariously through him. Thanks for that Louis!
it's incredile to see that some people are still so open to discover new cultures and travel around the world instead of sitting at home and play on the x-box! I enjoy watching your videos just for that, to see how fasinated you are and it inspires me and many other people to do the same and actually see the world..love it
I love Louis so much. He inspires me to want to help others and do more. He teaches you to see the beauty with in things and is such a careing person. I hope i grow up to be like Louis. He is just sych an insperation to so many people.
I think this is one of your best vlogs yet Louis. It just seems like such a great adventure and learning new cultures is very exciting and humbling. Everyone is SO HAPPY there. We can all learn from people like that.
I 100% agree that we need to empower people to improve their quality of life. It's easy to give handouts, but it's truly rewarding to help people help themselves. I am passionate about global health and I believe the key to improving health is to create culturally appropriate health care programs that educate people without imposing Western beliefs on them. I love watching your vlogs and you inspire me to live life to the fullest spreading love and happiness to everyone I meet! Thank you :)
Louis, what you said was so true.. evidently, the quality of life for most "third world countries" isn't as great as "first world countries", yet.. you see people smiling and happy. Back home in Indonesia, when I went to the local markets and villages, I could see how conditions were poor, yet every person I met greeted me with such warmth, kindness, and smiles. It says a lot about life. People can have so much, yet be bitter & discontent, whereas people of lesser fortunes can still be happy.
Louis you're such an inspiring man! as well as your friends. You do so much to help people, and you're so friendly! I wish I could grow up to be like you, explore the world, learning new cultures. Don't stop blogging ever please aha, and Ginger is also a very gorgeous place by the looks of it, I would go there(:
i love what your doing louis its so inspiring to see the things you do, your always trying new things and experiencing the world, your channel is different from others i'm subscribed to, you try to inspire people not just entertain them.
Watching this is so interesting and inspiring! It's the most positive project I have seen to do with Uganda and I find it amazing how much of a difference it will make. Thank you for taking us with you Louis:)
Your videos are more interesting, better organised, and have better music choice than a number of documentaries that take months to plan - and you do 1 a day, remarkable.
I completely agree that we need to inspire these people and help them to help themselves and show them how to change their life for the better. Us just giving them money, food aid makes them rely heavily on everyone else which is going to help no one. I hope your videos inspire a generation. Your such an interesting guy and you have a lot to give :)
Regarding people smiling despite the lack of wealth, it's the same over here in the Philippines. When you go to the areas where the less fortunate live, you'd have to look long and hard to find people who aren't happy. The sense of community is wonderful too.
I think what your doing is so good! It's better to help people to help themselves rather than giving them food and then in the long run them not knowing how to get money themselves! Really want to go to Uganda now!!!
Louis stop showing me insects I'm gona cry (really) I love your videos so much, you are living such an amazing expirience. I agree with what your friend said, they need a long term project not just food to eat today and starve tomorrow
I think it's amazing seeing and experiencing different cultures. I think it makes you more appreciative of what you have. You also get the amazing opportunity to lend a hand. I hope that I'll be able to do all of this one day too. Thanks for sharing this! :) Xo.
Very smart project you guys have got going on. I think the world as a whole needs to make more long term decisions if we really want to get anywhere. Also, wow Noelle is stunning!
I agree with the long term solution, the problem isn't just black and white. Just these vlogs have made me want to go and help out - in the future possibly.
Louis, your one day more interesting than my whole life! :) You and Steve are doing right things! Keep going and make this world more beautiful! :) Greetings from Slovakia xxx
I went to two rural villages in The Gambia, west Africa a couple of years back. When I visited schools, the children wanted three things: 1. Empty water bottles so they could bring water from their wells at home into school with them 2. To hold my hand, look at my eyes and play with my hair (none of them had ever seen a white person in the flesh before, and I was the only one with light eyes in the group) 3. To see photos and videos of themselves on my camera. It's just magical.
Louis did go for injections of some sort before he even went to Amsterdam, I totally agree that just throwing money at a situation, does little to improve the long term outcome, this has been proved time after time, think that BigSteve has got the right idea, bring tourists to the area and the money it brings, will go to help the local people ,love Louis for raising awareness
haha that bug at the end migrates to Québec in spring :O I'm always playing with those XD never got bit by one but thats awesome! A bug that flies from Uganda to Canada is an epic bug in my book!

I think this is one of your best vlogs yet Louis. It just seems like such a great adventure and learning new cultures is very exciting and humbling. Everyone is SO HAPPY there. We can all learn from people like that.

5:50, this is so true, much better to try and help to build an infratructure that works, than just give out food the one time you'r there!
Louis stop showing me insects I'm gona cry (really)
