Massive Crenshaw melons!

Last year I had a little trouble, growing melons however, this year it seems that this Crenshaw is doing better than anything else I’ve grown. It took a while to get started but once it was established, it took off like crazy! I now have two very large melons that are almost ready to ripen, and 4 more small ones that are going to continue to grow and give me multiple more melons. Unfortunately broke off a vine that held 1 medium sized one. But it will continue to produce for the summer and give me more and more melons. As long as I can keep the squash bugs off.

When they turn yellow best cantouloupe ever

Yeah this one didn’t quite turn yellow but had to be picked as the vine wasn’t going well. But still tasted absolutely amazing! We let it ripen a bit on the counter, and it was great!
