Evermore was composed by Alan Menken (Aladdin,
Tangled, The Little Mermaid) with lyrics by Tim Rice (Lion King, Aladdin) . Evermore was originally performed by Dan Stevens who played the role of the Beast in the 2017 film Beauty and the Beast and was also performed and produced as a single by Josh Groban.

Evermore" is a song from the 2017 remake of Beauty and the Beast. It is sung by the Beast when he realizes that Belle misses her father. With the help of his magic mirror, she sees that he is being taken away to the asylum. So the Beast sets Belle free, allowing her to go help Maurice. As he watches her ride away from his tower, he laments about his past and, in spite of himself, holds to the hope that she might indeed come back.

I went to finally see the movie today, and I about cried at that song when The Beast watches Belle leave. You did a very good job, I actually cried when you sang this song. I wanted to come through the screen just to hug you, that song is going to effect me for awhile.
