Ellie! I just started to hand letter as well and I love it! It's frustrating to start out but so fun and a good creative outlet! You should try purchasing some Tombow brush pens! The dual brush pens (marker like) and fudenosuke (pen/calligraphy like) pens may help your technique overall! I noticed my regular cursive improve with this practice as well!
I learned how to do hand lettering and it takes so much time! I seriously learned with the pens and everything and parchment paper. And learned how to do each letter step by step. I'm by no means a pro at it. But it's so relaxing and in the end it's so nice to know how to do it.

Have you considered getting a “daith” piercing for the headaches? You can always take it out after you give birth. I’m not one for piercings but this one has been a lifesaver. It’s the tiniest part of your ear and no one can barely see it. Literally zero headaches since getting it done
Ellie be careful using the hot tub whilst pregnant.. I'm a spa therapist (In the uk) and we are always told pregnant women aren't allowed in the hot tub. I don't know if it's different in america xx congratulations on your pregnancy I hope you have an easy next few months xx
The best fire starter is to save your cardboard egg cartons fill with dryer lint and then pour wax over the lint. I use wax melts after they've lost their smell. We break them in half and stack logs around. You don't even need kindling. And all it takes is one match!

A little trick with Ur headaches, take storage bag if U don't have ice back. Loosely add ice cubes & lay it on the back of ur head to help numb ur nerves I've been having headaches & migraines for over 15 yrs now. Another one is 2 Tylenol s with something with caffeine in it.
What Ellie was doing in the begging with the cursive is called Caligraphy! I love to do that and it takes practice but overall it's very creative and fun to do.
Ellie! You should try using brush pens instead of the micron pens! It makes hand lettering sooo much easier since you just apply different pressures instead of filling in the letters. I love using Tombow’s Brush Pens! ❤️
Ellie could you do a video explaining more about the cookbook? Like how much it’s looking to cost, where we may be able to buy it, when it may come out, and just kind of general info?

I started a couple years ago and I've been able to start my own little business using this fun hobby! Just keep practicing as much as you can, and you'll see so much improvement shortly! Ellie, the headache you described sounds like a migraine! I get one every week or so. It’s super intense pain on usually one side of the head or behind the eyes! Any light is horrible! And feeling nauseous sometimes comes with it. Hope hope hope you don’t start getting those, they’re awful! Sending love to your family! Xoxoxo

Ellie! Sounds like you had a migraine. You should try peppermint oil- rub it on your temples and a little underneath your nose so you breathe it in. It has really helped with my headaches!

You won't need to fill the ink in as it it created like a brush! Just practice doing thick downstroke and thin up stroke drills!
