Fighter to the end. An encouraging story portraying losing all your possessions but never giving up on living.

As John Edmonds sang " there is a Rhodesian everywhere ". Salute Campbell. Was good to see you briefly at the farmers meeting in London.

My father was part of an experimental bullet proof vest development team during the Rhodesian conflict. The technology and materials at the time dictated that the vest was enormously heavy. They used porcelain overlapping plates, and it was just impractical and cumbersome . So the natural progression was to make bullet proof seats for the chopper pilots towards the end of the war. It would be interesting to hear from any pilots who benefited from dad’s efforts.
Great interview. My kids went to school with John Dunlop’s kids here in South Africa. A great family all round.
    Cheers 🤝🤝

Wow, John. Yet another stunning interview part 2.
@Campbell- no one could make up your life story. Perhaps the greatest issue is your timing in life, and there in lies the luck you cannot control.
Here’s hoping that you get what you deserve in Jersey…
    Best wishes from Guersey.

Thank you for another great interview just a pity it was so short. I feel that there was much more to say. Then again I must say thank you to those that gave their time to bring the stories to us.
