True, but, with Goalkeepers it’s quite easy to stand out and make the step up… it’s probably the only position you can really. As a striker they’ll always say you were against shit defences, as a defender they’ll say you were against shit strikers and with midfielders they’ll always question technique … but with goalkeepers that doesn’t seem to really happen. If you’re 18/19 in the National League like he is now with Aldershot, and he has a good season, plenty of clean sheets and good performances then a League 2 team will take a gamble, then a League 1 etc.

@@davidtownsend1035 brave decision as many other young goalkeepers would've stayed. He's a talent so watch out for him 👍
@@davidtownsend1035"didn't have a clue"...and yet you still commented as if you knew perfectly what the situation was.
Should have signed the pro contract. He would have been loaned out at some point. Just needed to see a season or so in the U23 set up.
I mean I don't know what the lad expected if he thinks he's getting in ahead of Pickford
Edit: I find it incredible the amount of people who laugh at me for this, yet this kid decided to mutually terminate his contract instead of waiting for a loan deal to be negotiated, when that happens I'm sorry but players like that don't get good track records I mean look at Thierry Small
He didn't ask to be ahead of Pickford he asked for a loan move
@@iammatrix so he yeets his contract out the window, that's incredible
He wanted to play regular men's football. He's only 19 got plenty of time to get the next move 👍
First team football is first team experience, he’s young, and this season he’ll be a standout for a team getting promoted into the football pyramid. Smart move to be honest, goalkeepers play longer on average, if he’s the real deal no reason why he couldn’t work up to the premier league.
The video literally says he wanted to be loaned out. That means to a different club mate. One where Pickford isn't. Switch the cells on.
i went to Hill-Murray Catholic High School in Maplewood Mn and in 1983 our varsity boys hockey team went undefeated the entire season ultimately winning the Mn State High School Hockey Tournament and in doing so strung together a record of 28 wins and 0 losses and it was done playing against some of the best hockey programs Minnesota has ever produced. that undefeated record is still the high water mark of achievement and the benchmark of excellence here and i doubt that it will ever be either equaled or surpassed. i still get chills when i think of those final seconds of the last game ticking away and the capacity crowd counting down aloud those last few seconds 3 - 2 - 1 and then the buzzer sounded and all hell broke loose - in the best way - the arena exploded with joy and cheers and horns and screams of delight tears of happiness and pride and rightfully so, we had witnessed that most elusive of all human accomplishments - PERFECTION- which so many work so hard to achieve but only a scant few ever do . and im glad I was there to see it all happen -,
Pioneers to VICTORY !
In fairness, you don’t want to play for Everton
Haha! Who's your team Jimbo. Would you do the same for them? 😄
Someone’s throwing money at Farnham Town. He’s gone for money, not game time 🤣
He's not gone for the money 😂
Funny how he moved to Aldershot recently albeit back on loan to Farnham
imagine having a life where you care about this stupid nonsense. it's the equivalent of going to sandbach services on holiday. no idea why it's in my feed.
I heard Sandbach services is lovely this time of year ☺️
Imagine having a life where you’re that miserable you complain about what other people like
@@FionnMcCrystal i like complaining. it's my hobby. it's what i like to do. why are you so miserable that you are complaining about my hobby?
and yet i bet you care about something just as stupid and pointless.
@@bensmith5581Unlike you we have hobbies. Your hobby is probably being a bad discord mod.
This is awesome he wasn't there for the money he actually wanted to play football, get that guy in a premier league team he has the right attitude for it and i fully support that shit..
It's an interesting story that's for sure
Well, I hope he gets another shot at the big time. Don't know how anyone equates practicing on a Premier League side to playing in the 9th division or whatever...
He wouldn't have been training with the first team...
I swear that’s the club the sidemen went to watch
It most certainly is 👍
Big gamble hope it pays off thats a big decision
He's a talent for sure, let's see how it plays out
Claiming anyone but Leverkusen being the most in form club in Europe this season is crazy 😭😭
24 consecutive games unbeaten? how cute. Try getting to 45 next, and then we can talk again
Hope the decision pays off eventually
I'd be miffed to at having to play youth team football while Jordana Prickford steals a wage in the first team. Everton are a complete dung factory
As an afc wimbledon fan this hurts. At least we still have the most losses in the efl in the last 10 years
😂
Just hope the lad doesn’t end up regretting the decision 👍⚽️
Time will tell 🕰️
He’s now at Aldershot
Thought it was Will Smith from the dodgers based on the thumbnail and talking about how great of a keeper he was in high school 😅
AFC Wimbledon's twenty-year record???? Fuck, I'm old. 🤣
Haha I know right.
Hopefully he gets his move back up the leagues 👍🏻
There not a typical step 5 club and they have a huge invester who is gonna bring success in the lower leagues !!
Money talks just as much down there as it does at the top !
Pats from the Farnham area and earning so good luck to him !
Maybe something bigger down the line will come for him!
Were unbeaten all season, much like Falkirk. Impressive
good for you 👍,keep working hard and you’ll have a brilliant ⚽️ education in the leagues and your time will come
He's got a move to a National League team, so already jumped up 3 or 4 leagues!
He knew that The goalkeeper position are rarely had chance to play. 😅 goodluck for him
Patrik nash is a talent that for shure. His Distribution is insane 👌
Unbelievable Tekkers
Was this about the goalkeeper or someone scoring a penalty for a club no one has ever or will ever hear about.
Both pal, goalkeeper leaves Everton and now plays for the most in form team in Europe 24/24 league wins. 👍
I still dont understand where he is playing
Farnham Town
Al hilal broke the record 🤫🤫🤫
Most inform? Clearly never seen my year 11's team vs the year 10s at lunch time. Unbeaten everyday all year. Completed it all and retired on a high
I couldn't find that one in the history books 😂 but sounds like a you had a quality year group
I watched Farnham in the final I saw him play and nearly got the guy on the left on pictures shirt no cap
Ange ON POINT once more 🔥📝
🙌🙌🙌
Howay the Bay!!! 🌊 🐎
I’m not gonna read 800 comments to check if this has been said already, but the dude looks like a young Matt Damon
Haha I think that's the first 😂
That’s the same match when harry sung “the first goal doesn’t count”
It is 😂
The most inform team in Europe is a team in Scotland called Falkirk FC and has lost 2 games this season in two league cups and won the league without losing once
It’s true Callum Morrison Scored the most goals in Europe this season
At the time of recording Farnham had won 23 out of 23 league games. The perfect record. Fair play to Falkirk though 🙌
Can you do vid on Falkirk and tag me they are in the third tier of Scottish football
I am subscribed
as Semi-Pro myself I think game time is very imp so he made a great decision but should fight harder to go above
He's signed for national league side Aldershot now 👍
Respect his decision...risky but respect
Leaving Everton for Whitley Bay👏👏 you love to see it
That pitch is like a bog. Miss them days.
My hometown ❤
its always amazed me with how many football clubs engalnd has considering its a small country. i kno not all are pro but its still a big number. goes to show how much that sport means to the country
So many teams at so many different levels! No wonder it's so difficult to go pro, the standard is so high 👍
whenever i hear of Farnham, i just hear Harry W2S screaming "GO ON, FARNHAM!"
Haha true 😂
Is that Church Langley Playing Field?
I watched Nash play and what a keeper
At Whitley Bay*
Farmhan town- the most in form team in europe. Just yesterday, bellingham, haaland and mbappe got rejected by them.
