• Crazy On You - Heart -...
Recorded at Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame - 2013
Heart is an American rock band formed in 1967 in Seattle, Washington as The Army. Two years later, The Army changed their name to Hocus Pocus, then they changed their name again to White Heart a year later, and eventually changed the name a final time to Heart in 1973. Wikipedia
Ann is 64 here, yeah still sounds great, seen them 4 times over the years and she is still my favorite female vocalist, this is their introduction into the Rock n Roll hall of fame I'm pretty sure.🤘
She is 71 and still sound amazing!
You’re correct. They performed two songs. This one featured the original band members. The second one, Barracuda, featured their touring band at the time and some guests.
The Wilson sisters are Legends!🤘
At 63 yrs old, Ann is frickin' awesome‼️❤️
Im listening to music over 60 yrs this is one of the greatest performances ever. The record was released in late 70s she's older but it was magnificent. Ann Wilson is one of the greatest singers ever. Huge fan of them. She's still performing as of February 2023.
I believe this was Heart's induction into the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame.
led zepplins induction
Yes, you are right…the performance of Stairway to heaven from Led Zeppelin was one year before
True that...it was when heart's induction into rnr fame ...they perform together for the last time...the sis'..wud love to hear them react to " magic man"
@Dorsey white
They played at zeppelin's hof induction but that was the mid-90s. They played battle of evermore
@@dogzbite2 Thanks for the correction. Heart got inducted with Rush.
This was played at hearts rock hall induction ceremony back I'm 2013 with all the original band members from the 70s
In my opinion this lineup was always the best one they ever had.
Like 40 years later, still kicking this song's ass. Fucking epic
❤️❤️❤️ Only 37 years between when this song came out and this performance.
Song came out in 1976 I believe. Both the Wilson sisters were in there very early 20s then. So at this performance they are both nearing sixty or so? Not that you could tell from the longevity of Ann's wonderful voice. Or Nancy's slinky acoustic dexterity that she portrays on this kick ass intro. Really really stoked to hear this one live, thank you guys.
Yup: Released: March 1976
An album I bought with wedding gift money. Still have the albums but not the wife...
Great reaction.. Ann was 63 and Nancy was 59 when they performed this at RRHOF!!
Heart is and will always be awesome! Love them!
The 70s greatest decade in Rock
Induction into RnR Hall of Fame. 1st time original lineup performed together in decades. 💖💖
Ann Wilson is the greatest female rock singer ever!. Saw them live in 1977. Awesome!
You needed to see the live version back in the 70s.. with Rodger Fisher.
My god. I find myself at 54 yrs old in awe at the way the slayed this. I grew up listening to them and have come to re-appreciate they’re music by watching reaction videos of them fairly recently like this one. Love that they are still all about they’re passion and rocking out I gotta say phenomenally. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
THE HEART SONG FULL OF HEART
This is the original heart this is the first time and in Nancy and played with these guys in a long time
Gene Simmons spitting fire
Rodger daltrey throwing the microphone in the air
Pete Townsend's windmill
Nancy Wilson jumping around on stage
all iconic spine-tingling moments
That’s why she was voted #2 best female guitarist of all time. #1 being Lita Ford. It was released in March 1976.
Lita Ford? Are you serious???? LOL
Yes Jon, Lita Ford was top of the list but I believe she’s listed 5 or at the very least still in the top 10. Nancy Wilson is rated by Gibson as #8 since 2016. To many great female musicians coming up. Although check out who’s listed #1. There’s a lot of the older girls in the top 20 now.
@@sherryarflin726 Lita Ford isn't even on the same planet as Ann Wilson.
John Mallek, I agree with you 100%. I never said I agreed with them. I just gave the info. As far as I’m concerned Nancy Wilson should still be at the very least in the top five.
Anne Wilson is one of a kind. Have a listen to the live performance of "Alone" with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
They paved the way for a lot of Seattle rock bands. They went in the rock and roll hall of fame the same day as rush the hall got it right for a change.
In fact in this performance you have also Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains playing with them….close friends.
It is their Hall of Fame performance and that's original lead guitarist Roger Fisher on the Stratocaster. It's his first time playing with them in over 30 years. He added an energy to their sound that I feel was never the same after he left. Unfortunately he was in a relationship with Ann and was forced out of the band when they broke up.
Actually, he was fired because of his drug use and bad temper, Ann talks about it in the Behind the music. Listen to the story of the great Kabong lol
us oldheads still love to rock...props to the Wilson sisters and Heart...Heart broke records for women in rock...you have no idea. They are truly the GOATS
Just look at that crowd these two ladies are the queens of rock ‘n’ roll and they deserve every bit of that noise that’s coming back at them.
How did I miss this….The Best is Live and watching Nancy do her thang!
Heart 😍. I'd love to see reactions to their performance of Alone with the Philharmonic Orchestra and the original 1970s performance of Barracuda (just so you can also see them back in the day)
this performance was in 2013 at Hearts induction ceremony into the rock n roll hall of fame, 38 years after they released this in 1975
The hat. I don't know this as a fact and it's just a hunch but they were HUGE Zeppelin fans and John Bonham the drummer for Zeppelin who died in 1980 was famous for wearing a hat like that. In the Stairway to Heaven tribute video with Ann and Nancy, Bonham's son is wearing his dad's actual hat as he played drums.
Kick Arse right there ... HEART with the OG's performing on guitars is Hall Of Fame !
Ann is wearing the “hat” in honor of John Bohnam! There is actually a video compilation of: Nancy’s Dance Moves.
Yessssss!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I’d love to hear you guys cover a song like this!!!
I think this was their farewell tour in Seattle which is where they are from.
Best female rock singer live performance ever!!…and when you also have Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains playing with them it makes it a little special to say something
Enjoyed your reaction. This performance was at their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The last time all original members of Heart played on stage together was October of 1979. Ann Wilson admitted she was so uncomfortable being around Roger Fisher, Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier... she asked Jerry Cantrell to be on stage during this performance. Another interesting fact. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame would not induct Ann & Nancy Wilson without Roger Fisher & Steve Fossen (founders of Heart) and original members Michael Derosier and Howard Leese.
Which was definitely the right decision. The guys played a huge role in the original Heart.
This was 1977 when the song came out this year is 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction
This song came out when I was in ninth grade 1976.
Guitarists are Roger Fisher and Howard Leese
this is a band best seen live... won a contest and got backstage in the 80's... more recent talked wife into bangles/heart concert at il st fair... still in love... only cuz srv is gone...
Song came out in 1976.
this was at their induction to the rock and roll hall of fame in 2013
The original single was released in 1976. Amazing then and amazing now in 2022.
Love those ladies!!! Been a fan of them since I was a teenager. 🤘😍🤘
She is wearing John Bonham's hat from the Kennedy center we they did Stairway with Jason Bonham played his dad's drums and was wearing his dad's hat. MUCH LOVE TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 💕BRANDI MODRAK 💕
She can really belt one out.
If you want to here great. Do "Alone".
Came out in 76 easily best female vocalist this I from induction in 3013
Sorry 2013 it happens
That was CRAZY!!
More Heart!
This was their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hat looks like the one John Bonham used to wear, and his son Jason did when Led Zeppelin was honored about six months before this at the Kennedy Center Honors.
The old footage is the best, but she still did great.
This was at their hall of fame performance and they had both versions of the band on stage that night
Anyone else catch Nancy toss the first pick to the floor and swap out for a strummer hidden in her hair for the second part of intro? She’s awesome. The only sad thing is that Ann only allowed the original members to play this song only, quite a tense reunion according to Mike and Roger Fisher (guitarist in pinstriped shirt). Absolute legendary performance and your reaction made it even better.
From 1974 until now.
I believe this was at the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame when they got inducted and they actually had their two original guitar players with them.
I believe this was when they were inducted into the RNR Hall of Fame.
React to the live version 1977, fantastic!!
Love you People.
Pink Floyd Echoes Live at Pompeii pt 1 , one awesome jam
I seen them live waaaay back in 1977.
Peace 420
Hi Guys Ann is on tour right now. Ann is now 71 and Nancy 66. Nancy finally put outca solo album it's not bad.
Now this is REAL music! (Classic Rock from the ‘70’s)Not the💩 they call music today!
Ann Wilson, to me, is the greatest female rock vocalist, ever. If you haven't, check out Heart doing "Stairway" for Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Honors. (And if you have, it's SO GOOD, right??!?) 🤘🤘🤘
When Nancy’s leg goes up it’s on they mean business .
Check out PLUSH's live version of this song!!! Crazy good!
My dear Folks its the Original Band LIVE. from the 1970's
Nancy Wilson is the best female guitarist of all time
You have to check out Moriah Formica (singer of PLUSH) live version of this st times union center. Ann Wilson clone!
I may be mistaken, but the guitarist with the gray hair and dressed in black also played with Bad Company at some point.
You are quite correct
Awsome Sause Sisters
Highly recommend Hearts whole Rock Hall Induction Performance. Please React!
Check "One way or another" by Blondie live in NY 1999
Nancy, doesn't get enough credit
Ann Wilson 😍
you should check the cover of stairway to heaven they did for led zepplin in the audience . led zeplin induction into hall of fame show
They already did…some months ago, tons of thousands of views
System Of a Down - Chop Suey
The original band
Ann Wilson has definitely lost a bit of her voice but she still sounds AMAZING....
She is amazing, as is the rest of the band....but this performance is nothing as grand as the original...but considering her age at this time of performing, it is excellent, and she is still amazing.
Dog and Butterfly is absolutely heavenly.
Dang... Nancy doesn't look like she aged a bit.
That would be 1977.
Please do Poppy scary mask or live at the Grammys eat!!! Please.. See women rock on
1974
My friend
Please react to iron maidens two new singles the writing on the wall and Stratego
Nah that outfit was not nice, really old woman look, love her in the Barracuda vid ♥ ☻
