    Why did you choose to "replace" -10 with -8/-2?

      @@ShamanKingSK it’s a unique way of simplifying and grouping terms. In this case we have X^3 so if we had another cubic term we could factor out the cubic power and solve our equation as a quadratic equation, having 3 possible solutions of X.
